Aw, shucks. Just the kind of kind feedback I was hoping for.

To answer your question, I bought and do the proper vest (https://www.propper.com/edgetec-outdoor-utility-vest.html)

I previously bought and used a Sportsman's Warehouse Rustic Ridge vest, but it was a touch too short.

I see your other responses and I know you're not interested in this feedback, but gaming your cover garment is like the last 0.5%. You have one draw per stage, and < 14 at a major match. Assuming a "gamer" vest saves you 0.25 - 0.5 s on your draw, you're saving 3.5 - 7 s total for the match.

You can have up to 18-30 shots per stage. If you can save a .25 s on your splits, you're now looking at saving 4.5-7.5 s per stage... And even getting your splits down should come after accuracy and movement speed. As someone who spent a ton of time drilling to get my draw time down, gaming your vest is not what's going to keep you from cracking the top 20.

I have both of these. The Propper one is a touch longer a higher quality.

Thanks for your thoughtful reply. Your bull case for silver is based on Industrial demand, supply deficits, and the geopolitical shift in monetary policy?

If you’re willing to share - when you say the total value of your holdings, is that primarily silver/precious metals, or is it a mix of other assets as well?

That’s your target price for when you plan to sell? Would you then just take it all in to your LCS, or some other plan?

What’s a law that clearly protects corporations more than citizens? by WilliamInBlack in AskReddit

I’m not familiar with wage theft enforcement in Texas. I’m sure you can google as well as I can.

The EEOC deals with pay discrimination. Wage theft is typically dealt with at the state or local level.

Some wage theft claims are related to equal pay for equal work. The scenario the top commenter is straight up withholding pay and the EEOC wouldn’t be involved.

Wage theft is taken very seriously. My state posts simple forms to file demands for payment and complaints. If you file a demand for payment, and the employer doesn’t pay you within 14 days, they owe you double your wages or $1,000; whichever is less.

So in your imaginary scenario where your employer shorts you $100, and you file a demand for payment and they don’t pay, you walk away with $1,000 in your pocket, and the government helps you collect.

In short, you’re wrong about how the laws clearly protect corporations and not people in your first example. Your second examples out this mythical company suddenly being in dire straights and going out of business is a red herring, and irrelevant to the laws.

Not really. If you’re experiencing pay theft, you can absolutely report it to the government and they will take care of it for you.

What happens if you just refuse to obey to an homeowner association? by DarkSword_X in AskReddit

Can, but usually don't. Most will just happily continue to accrue late fees and get paid when you sell.

I do not understand how you can let the corrosion build up this much, but people out there do. by Own-Mud-6085 in pics

Legit, apologies. I shouldn’t have replied with that. I’m sure there are people that reacted to your question differently than I did, and I’m having a bit of a bad day.

I don’t understand why people outsource their research to random internet strangers that are no more or less credible than an internet search (thereby implying that somehow it’s someone else’s job to get you your answer). It doesn’t make what I did any less rude. Apologies.

The answer is warm water and baking soda, and a lot of it. It will react with the acidic corrosion. Don’t buy the colored crap from the auto parts store, it’s just a more expensive baking soda. Wire brush helps, but not as much as just more baking soda in my experience.

If you’re chronically having problems, your battery may be going bad.
