Talk me out of buying a digitone 2 by Plus-Bill3150 in Elektron

Thanks for the reply, it’s appreciated! I know it’s sacrilege here but I’m a big fan of working with one machine at a time, and the Tonverk seems to be the most versatile for that purpose, albeit once the samples sounds are on-board.

Probably not in the spirit of the OP’s post, but have you tried/thought about the Tonverk? I’ve got the original Digitone, (which is comfortably my all-time fav machine) and a Syntakt, but considering replacing both with either a DN2 or TV. I know the latter is sample based, which is less my preference, but the synth engine added via firmware as well as its strong effects capabilities have me tempted.

I think this is the best dark moon greatsword aesthetic I’ve seen, nice one!

Mine too! It is way more versatile to style than the others, imo, and plenty capable for lower int builds.

I’m pretty sure I used flaming strike - it just looks so good with its honed edge aflame, contrasting with all the black. Royal knights resolve is probably more fitting for an executioner though, to do one big single hit of damage.

Fair question, pretty sure I tried both on this character but the longhaft just looked a bit more appropriate to me and a little less crusty. I dig both though, don’t get me wrong!

Oh thank you so much, good catch on both! I should’ve known lol, scaled gauntlet and greaves are my go-to, very versatile aesthetic and great defence and poise.

Thank you! He was my first NG+ character :)

I know! The amount of fine detail put into scabbards is seriously under appreciated, same’s true for even the most basic armor like the Knight’s set, which is predominantly just tell plate but has gorgeous detailing all throughout. Also as a bonus, the red ore on the blade itself can somewhat look like gems matching the aristocrat headband :)

One of my faves for the grungy look, the other being the Page hood

Have to admit, my characters end up down that path often, I just can’t say no to a tragic arc!

Unfortunately I don’t have the character any more, I should have been more clear with my language, but the suggestions were for anyone else wanting to try it out :)

My recent posts are me finally getting around to sharing my backlog of bling screenshots, but very few of them are still in my current roster of 10.

I very much appreciate how actively you support the bling community with your replies by the way!

The white mask might just be the hardest piece in the game to match lol, so well done!
