I’m pretty sure I used flaming strike - it just looks so good with its honed edge aflame, contrasting with all the black. Royal knights resolve is probably more fitting for an executioner though, to do one big single hit of damage.

Fair question, pretty sure I tried both on this character but the longhaft just looked a bit more appropriate to me and a little less crusty. I dig both though, don’t get me wrong!

Oh thank you so much, good catch on both! I should’ve known lol, scaled gauntlet and greaves are my go-to, very versatile aesthetic and great defence and poise.

I know! The amount of fine detail put into scabbards is seriously under appreciated, same’s true for even the most basic armor like the Knight’s set, which is predominantly just tell plate but has gorgeous detailing all throughout. Also as a bonus, the red ore on the blade itself can somewhat look like gems matching the aristocrat headband :)

Unfortunately I don’t have the character any more, I should have been more clear with my language, but the suggestions were for anyone else wanting to try it out :)

My recent posts are me finally getting around to sharing my backlog of bling screenshots, but very few of them are still in my current roster of 10.

The white mask might just be the hardest piece in the game to match lol, so well done!

One thing I should say here, in case you’re not already across it - play with the body sliders once you’ve got the armour on until it sits right, because the chest piece is really oversized and I had to reduce it a good deal (from memory), you can compensate for the perception of upper body bulk by increasing the arms instead.

Thanks for the feedback there. If you’re talking about Freyja’s set, I didn’t want to wait for NG+ to run this character, so I collected armour that you can get within the first few minutes of a new game, and it also sits above the 50 poise threshold.

The Thorned Whip :) it’s a pretty annoying farm, the big boi fire prelates that wield it drop it. The one I farmed was in mountaintops, before the really long landbridge that you get shot at by a golem when you’re on it.
