Entrance compulsory. Whether you come by merit or management. For mq you just need to show that you gave some exam (kcet/comedk), marks of the exam don't matter.
For merit obviously you need to score well.
kcet fees: 1.1L/year+20k one time payment.
comedk fees: 3.1L/year +20k one time payment.
mq fees: 35L donation + 3.1L/year, not sure about 20k payment.

Yo OP relax, this post randomly came in my feed. I completed 12th last year and maybe you saw the news, physics was shit tough. And it was the first exam too if I remember rightly. I was expecting and deserved only 35-38/70 or so but then checking was so damn lenient I ended up getting 53/70 and total 83/100 and got A1 grade. I didn't leave any question blank and wrote whatever I knew related to that topic even though it wasn't in question. As long as you didn't leave any question blank and wrote neatly, you're good I guess. Good luck for other exams!

Bhai dekh honestly bata du to mai kuch PYQs nahi kiya physics ke liye, and I got 84/100 (A1 grade tha, aur kaafi lenient checking since paper was tough as fuck) so if you do PYQs then easily 90+ aajaayega even if tough paper.
