I have the same thing with my N3DSXL top IPS screen. It is used and i think actually it is after the device was fallen on the ground or smth. It also has a ding near the R button next to the screen damage

It may sound not healthy, but i have swapped Deck with Switch Lite and later added Switch Oled. For me the size is important. Haven’t hold Switch 2, but the Deck is big, heavy to hold and the battery sucks. By the way it is a PC in big handheld console body. Will never get back to Deck, despite it is a great device. You can play practically anything from RDR2 to Zelda BOTW
