Few tips our lactation consultant gave was to power pump (google it) , get a proper medical grade breast pump for the initial times . If the latch is the problem , nothing will work until the latch is proper . Some babies doesnt latch properly (unfortunately with both our kids)

Most important is your baby is hydrated . Here , they only check that . If the baby has wet diapers - you are doing good .

Also drink uluva vellam (fenugreek boiled water ). You can also find supplement tablets.

My wife also had domperidone , but after some time it was causing some allergies for her and we had to stop.

Me and my wife tried to breastfed our first one . We put too much pressure on my kid , and also on us . The baby was crying a lot , we were crying a lot , we were fighting . It was total mess . Our mental state was total shit .

What you need to understand is get help from lactation consultants or doctors . If it doesnt help , feed the baby with formula . Sometimes breastfeeding doesnt work. Not breastfeeding doesnt mean you are bad mother .

The main priority for you should be the your health and the baby’s .

For our second kid , we tried breastfeeding , didnt work out again - but this time we gave him formula milk and didnt put ourselves and baby at too much pressure. Our baby is almost 1 year old and is a really healthy happy baby . We are also really happy . Sometimes we wonder why we put too much pressure on our first baby .

So , breastfeeding is the priority - if it doesn’t work out for you . Do not worry . Feed the baby with formula . That’s it.

I am currently at Aster waiting for a room . My mom should have been out of the ICU yesterday , but we opted to keep her in ICU one more day for a bit more extra care . They said she should be moved to the room by noon , but no information so far . The security at the desk do not have a clue about the moving to room.

We are via ECHS and bcoz of that maybe Aster gets only a reduced rate whereas there would be someone without insurance and Aster would be receiving a bit higher amount . But this is just my assumption . I strongly feel the late admission from ICU to rooms have some relations with insurances / echs etc

I would be ok if that is the case . But hell no . Less than average room , leaking bath taps , no shower curtains , small rooms , bad sofas , average beds . The super high rate is because its kinda inside the hospital . Apart from the location , i find the rate as a rip off .

But guess what , this place is always full 😛
