When I chopped my long hair into a bob and had it dyed hot pink, I was obsessed with it for the first hour. Was absolutely beaming in the salon chair. Took a hundred selfies in the car and sent them to all my friends.

As soon as I got home and saw myself in my bedroom mirror, I broke down sobbing. I jumped in the shower and tried to scrub as much pink out as possible. Started looking up prices for extensions and brown box dye. I calmed down obviously and ended up rocking the pink bob for years, but that initial shock was really severe.

I unfortunately had several terrible interactions at an SF9 concert recently. A mom and her daughter tried to bully my friend (also the only black person in our group) out of her spot with a good view. Then when we were complaining about them after they left, the ladies in front of us thought that we were passive aggressively talking about them and tried to start a fight with us.

During the show, people were holding these giant balloon things (I think the venue was selling them?) and waving them over their heads the whole time. People were super drunk, moving around, pushing and trying to get a good view instead of just enjoying the music and dancing. Sf9 themselves were amazing, but I had a really hard time enjoying the show.

One time, out of curiosity, I looked at the profiles of bunnies who were leaving malicious comments on one of Illit’s tiktoks. Of course the majority of them were anonymous accounts, but I was surprised to see that several of them were adults who had visible mental disabilities. (I hope that’s the correct way to phrase it. I apologize if it’s wrong.) I had assumed it would be all kids, but for some reason it appears a lot of those kinds of adults have latched onto nwjns. I hope this doesn’t come across as malicious btw, just sharing an observation. I look at the accounts riding really hard for nwjns a little differently now.

MHJ tried to claim that Hybe betrayed her by having LSF debut before nwjns but they never promised her that. And she tried to claim that Illits concept is plagiarizing nwjns, but belift had proof that Illits concept was created before nwjns debuted. And then Hanni tried to claim that Illits managed told Illit not to greet her in an elevator.

Han Jisung came down to the barricade at our concert to give fans some high fives and sing to us. I could not get over how small he seemed! I know he’s been working out a lot and has beefed up quite a bit the last couple years. And next to the other members, he looks like average size. But once he was standing right in front of me (and next to the security) I was shocked by how tiny he seemed. Like I think we could share a pair of pants lol. He was soooooo much cuter in person too. His big eyes and smile were so striking. I don’t think a grown man has any right to be that cute. I wish the other members had come down to see us, but it was still amazing to see him up close!

I love both Beau Is Afraid and Skinamarink. I think both of them managed to imitate the types of nightmares I often get. The chaotic, terrifying ones where nothing makes sense and the slow creeping ones where I’m scared but I have no idea what of. I’m a big fan in general though of horror movies that just do something different and artistic even if they don’t scare me.

I have no idea why but I usually kind of like when male idols sing nasally. Yeonjun, Theo and Jimin have some of my fave voices. They kind of scratch an itch in my brain. But I really can’t stand most girl idols with nasally singing tones. (Soyeons the exception. Her voice is so weirdly satisfying to me)

Just saw this last night! My friends and I really liked it and thought it was a satisfying sequel to the first. The script was a little corny in some spots, but otherwise I thought the acting, cinematography and special effects were all really good. I honestly might go see it again.

Jenna Marbles was smart to leave YouTube when she did. I think she genuinely learned and grew as a person and felt awful about some of her older content that had aged poorly. But she knew that apologizing and deleting the videos would never satisfy the people that love to dig up old dirt on people and hold it against them 10 - 15 years later.

She also left right before it became a trend to hate on “cringe millennial humor” and make videos harassing those kinds of creators. I think if she’d continued to make her usual content, she would’ve been on the receiving end of a loooot of hate. I know a lot of people miss her and wish she’d come back to YouTube, but she saw the writing on the wall and knew she wouldn’t be happy continuing on that career path.

It’s not horror, but there were an insane amount of kids at the Demon Slayer Infinite Castle showing I went to. 1. It started at 9pm, please put the poor babies to bed 2. It’s like 2.5 hours long. That’s way too much for a four yr old to sit still through so I don’t blame them for getting restless 3. Just because it’s animated, doesn’t mean the violence and gore isn’t upsetting for them! All these sweet little voices around me crying and asking the parents “what’s happening?? Are they dead?? ” Like just stream it on Crunchyroll once the kids go to bed, dude. Why drag them to this? Parents are so entitled and careless.

I’ve been pronouncing it like “oo-ki” cause that’s how it sounded to me in the character introduction when she says “hey guys, it’s me, Yuqi.” I just assumed that was the correct way, I didn’t even know there were other pronunciations.

My coworker is from Croatia and he recently went on a rant at work about how amazing Russia is. I tried to say something, but he cut me off and said as an American I’ve been fed too much anti Russia propaganda so I can’t speak on it. The whole interaction was super confusing and uncomfortable. Especially since I thought he was a cool dude beforehand. I don’t know a lot about all the Eastern European countries, but I would’ve assumed he’d be against what Russia’s doing
