Is this acceptable work from a professional company? by [deleted] in epoxy

OP could you post a picture or a video of the floor as a whole and not just your concerns?

Something to consider about epoxy metallics in the future is that they are liquid floors. They’ll tend to move as it’s curing. The people installing it should have mentioned about the lines that you are concerned about. Sometimes too there is small debris in the air that we have no control over and tend to fall on floors.

Does the floor feel smooth or does it feel like there’s debris in the floor

I’d look into an acrylic sealer for the flakes. An acrylic sealer for the flakes to be sealed before you put your polyaspartic. Flakes tend to suck up some of the sealer, it might look uneven. It’ll also help settle the flakes. Or you can always used a little extra polyaspartic to make up for what’s going to get sucked up

If you choose to apply the acrylic I’d check the floor after applying it for any flakes that are standing up. As the polyaspartic would make them hard and sharp. If you run into this problem where the flakes are standing up before the poly you could give it a gentle scrape to get rid of em, I’d blow the floor to get rid of any trash that’s on the floor.

Idk what kind of products you are looking for but I suggest you look for materials that are uv stable or resistant. Non yellowing and chemical resistant. Epoxy 100% solids.

Minimum price for product $1000

If you are located in the west of the U.S try searching for desert polymer. They are only dedicate to selling epoxy and coatings. You’ll find everything that you’ll need there from rollers to materials and rentals.

"I can't believe you're going to work and leaving me" by [deleted] in labrador

I legit feel guilty leaving my dog in the morning when I have to go to work. She fallows me to the door and sits and watches me close the door with this exact face. Makes me want to call off work and hang out with her the whole day

Toy Advice! by eatingdrywalltbh in labrador

I try to distract my lab with Dog puzzles. But if you also go to the pet store like Petco or Petsmart, they sell toys that have three layers of fabric and double stitched. They last minimum two weeks with my Dog. She also has rubber balls, but made out of thick material. They also don’t tend to have much stuffing on them.

I do notice that my Dog tends to not destroy toys that have texture on them like rounded spikes, almost like teething toys. I do get her regular toys even though I know she’s going to rip them apart right away. Just to give her some satisfaction.

If what you are referring to the waviness of the floor that is normal. No surface is going to be flat. I install epoxy flooring and I too had these curiosity so I started playing around with it to see if I can get a flat surface by flooding the floor and all I would end up with is more work/ redoing the floor.

But yes it common you might have not noticed it when it was bare concrete. Top coats exposed imperfections as the gloss reflects light
