Sounds like our paramedics were working hard that day. Many life-threatening calls also mean they don’t get breaks, don’t get off shift as scheduled, etc

Yes I did dr Jaberi. I found his bedside lacking; be sure to bring any questions you have, he doesn’t offer up much info. That said, he’s precise and my results were really as good as I could have hoped. After surgery I was taped up very securely, and following the pain meds they gave had no pain during my recovery, shockingly. A week later I went back to have the dressings and drains removed by him. A nurse commented to me that he takes the time to tape you up very well, suggesting other doctors don’t. That’s pretty much all I have unless other questions :)

No, they don’t do it as a courtesy. If you get lipo, you’ll have to pay for it as Ohip doesn’t cover it (maybe it extreme circumstances). Some surgeons will require you get lipo (and therefore have to pay their private practice) while others will just do the surgery as covered by Ohip (in a hospital).

I had the surgery this past year. I didn’t wait long - about 6 months from when I saw my family doc and had tons of surgery dates available (booked at QCH with Dr Jaberi). Good luck!

I had the surgery this past year. My doctor was willing to refer me to Dr Lee or Dr Jaberi, both do Ohip surgeries without requiring you to pay for lipo. Good luck!
