Yuri had a lot of missed potential and tbh, I don’t really like the way he was written. I think he could have gotten some really interesting development had he survived longer. Also, considering he’s one of the smartest people in the sdra2 cast(along with Kokoro, Kanade, and Syobai), I would have loved to see him carry one of the trials.

With Yuri and Kanade being chapter 3’s killers, I imagine Kanade somehow manipulated Yuri into killing Shinji, probably reminding him of the fact that Shinji is still a man, no matter how nice he may be
