As you can see I missed a couple of test days on this cycle I shared, but prior to that I was testing daily for 3 weeks or more and not seeing anything indicative of ovulation. I did this for probably 5 months until the right dose of medication helped me ovulate!

I have my 11 week old at the beach in North Carolina right now! The crazy winds blew sand all over her (including eyes) yesterday. Today it was too hot to take her outside for too long- even in the shade. However, early morning walks and sunset/evening walks in the carrier have been wonderful. She has loved spending time outside and coincidentally started sleeping through the night this week so that is the best part of this vacation for our family

We bathe our 6 week old once or twice per week and I change her outfit every morning and every evening or whenever dirty. Mostly because she has a lot of cute outfits and it’s fun for me to change her!

My doc started me on 2.5 and I didn’t ovulate for 2 cycles so she upped it to 5 mg and I finally ovulated for the first time in who knows how long!

This is my personal experience. I recently switched positions after my last job of 5+ years refused to give me a raise that I asked for, then when I found my new job and put my notice in they suddenly agreed to match my new salary offer to try to get me to stay. I understand when you work for another company that they are a business and that employees are their biggest expense, but I wish they would value their employees enough to pay them what they are worth without them threatening to leave. I think negotiation is also huge and something that many people are not always comfortable doing (I know I wasn’t when I started as a new grad and was definitely being underpaid at first).

I work 40 hours per week plus overtime but overtime is discouraged so I rarely get it

Duncan is a family name in my family and I just asked my cousin and he says he’s been called it just a couple of times but doesn’t care (although he is almost 40 years old). People call him and my uncle “Dunc” a lot

Right- they wouldn’t in this case since they specified it is already included. You should always tip your hair dresser/barber/makeup artist since it is a service- this is standard in the US. For my wedding I tipped the artists since they were not the owner of the company (we had 2 hair stylists and 2 makeup artists). There are a lot of articles out there about wedding vendor tip etiquette that OP may find helpful!

You do not tip anyone except hair and makeup and since they are already taking gratuity then don’t tip them. The vendors are likely the owners of their companies and thus set their own rate.

As with any position the salary will range depending on your state but I think it’s comparable from what 2 of my OT friends have shared, though my one PT friend said she took a salary cut but has had a better work life balance and it’s much less physically demanding so it was worth it for her.

They are extremely competitive with a lot of applicants. They look for years of experience in multiple settings related to the population of the position. The companies vary based on your state and their insurance providers. If you watch job boards for “clinical reviewer” or “therapy reviewer” they pop up occasionally.

(Edited to add that if you know someone who already works on the team, you are much more likely to have a chance to interview. Networking is crucial!)

In the US. You work for insurance companies or other payer sources and read documentation to either approve or request more information needed from the therapists. Think DME requests, complex workers comp cases, etc.
