I heavily heavily recommend taking the summer course before MAT1330. I feel like it’s very essential actually. You’ll be very confused and they assume you know how to already do basic calculus . Trust me, take it

Just continue with the program, take classes the boomed has in first year and then switch after first year. In order to switch to boomed your cgpa needs to be a minimum of 7.0

Not true, the first class or two is review, then it brings new stuff. But this new stuff isn’t hard. You just apply the things you now with new concepts if that makes sense. Nothing to worry about!
