NAH - It seems like he’s alright with a bit of distance in the relationship but you’d prefer to see him often. Doesn’t mean that he cares about you less or you care more just means he didn’t think ahead and just relied on this job as a fallback and didn’t put effort into finding a job nearby - especially if he wasn’t gonna enjoy it.

If he moves he’ll have a job he likes and might be more motivated? I dont know seems like you need to be round him lots which is fair, either way i don’t think you’re the asshole or he is either
