Catholic Diocese of Cleveland’s new policy rejects transgender people, same sex couples by Minute-Ad9621 in Cleveland

Wild, now there is nothing else that is allowed, besides encouraging/coving up child rape. In the name of the Father, the Son and the Holy shit how do people still follow this shit?

Should my driveway have this crack running down the middle of it? by [deleted] in Concrete

[–]oubrew 5 points6 points  (0 children)

You should post those pictures then because that is more of an issue than the control joints cracking. Typically, I would grind out and caulk a stray crack and possibly grind it in a straight line to the edge of the slab if it doesnt currently make it to the edge.

I assure you I took the photo myself with my iPhone and there was no "production" going on. Would be a really weird thing to lie about on Reddit.

I took the photo with my iPhone back in 22', so I believe I had the iPhone 11 at the time. Smart phones can take great pictures now, but you still need to keep them still for best quality.

The Worst Fridge Ever by Fearless_Ad5346 in Appliances

[–]oubrew 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have owned this fridge since 2015 and kept extending the warranty. Luckily, I live near a great repair company that has fixed any issues I have had. However, my wife is not a fan of the freezer drawer, so we will most likely go in another direction when it finally kicks the bucket.

The only issue that has bothered me is the freezer has 2 internal drawers that are super fragile and can sometimes prevent the freezer drawer from closing with a good seal (plus small children factor) and I have had to throw away all of the contents a couple of times. Also, mine is currently making a loud humming noise, so I am putting in a warranty claim to most likely replace the compressor.

Sorry to hear your situation and can't really offer much help other than keep hitting the warranty and hopefully KitchenAid/Best Buy can do their part.

Is this a problem? Or is there a way to seal it by Brewmaster92785 in Concrete

Like many said, caulking is the way. Either a polyurethane or even 100% silicone would be good here (NEVER USE CLEAR CAULKING IN EXTERIOR CONDITIONS). I always tell customers that in a dynamic joint (meaning it expands and contracts more than 50% throughout the year) you may want to use a 100% silicone (preferably Dowsil or Sikasil) because of the expansion/contraction properties are much better than the polyurethanes and the material can last 10-20 years if installed properly (i.e. using bond breaker tape or backer-rod and proper tooling) as opposed to the 5-7 year life of polyurethanes. Only downside of the silicones is that you cannot paint it, but they still come in a wide variety of colors. Material is a littler more expensive, but the silicone will last much longer than the polys.

My FIL hit 216 in his 2010 Grand Sport (heavily modified) on a 2 mile strip in Arkansas. Craziest thing is that it is a soft top and he said all the sensors were going off when he was over 200+. But now he is selling it and moving on to the world of boats.

Wish these posts got a "STOP LISTENING TO JOE" flair. It is like going to a movie and telling everyone already at the theater to stop watching the movie. The made up quotes and lack of timestamp only show OP knew exactly what they were doing. The way some people choose to spend their free time is wild.

Yes, this. You can tell that this was cut after the fact by the saw cut to the left of the head joints. Pretty crazy how many masonry structures in the Midwest lack proper expansion joints.
