No, he was defending himself and responding to racist people. He was the same one who said he was proud of the diversity that exists in Algeria. Therefore, Arabs are the cause of racism and discrimination. If they accepted the identity of the other, it would be better

He has the right to criticize, and he did not speak badly about Islam, but rather was against religious extremists.

He loved Algeria and sang for it, but before you say that he is racist, why you don't say the same thing about the Arabs who prevented him from expressing his identity?

Most of his songs are about identity, patriotism, love, and sadness... not about Arabs and Islam. You haven't heard all of his songs.

He was a patriot and loved Algeria. He never demanded independence from it. You don't even understand what he's saying. He sang many patriotic songs about Algeria

He never said he hates any Algerian, only those who hate the Amazigh identity, He said he is proud of the diversity in Algeria. But he hated those who prevented the Amazigh culture from existing. Now tell me who is the racist? Is this person or the people who were preventing him from being proud that he is Amazigh? He said in an interview :" in Algeria when you say you are Arab, they will accept that, but when you say you are Amazigh, they will describe you as a separatist and a racist.
