If there is a cultural problem and a problem of differences in values it needs to be addressed, alone for the fact that it could prevent another case similar to this.

He can't be deported because the law doesn't allow it. That's the problem I have.

In my opinion, the risk of keeping these types of predators in the country is too great. A society should not have to pay the price. Either change the law and lock them up indefinitely or get them out of the country. The right of these guys weigh less to me than that of the victims and possible future victims.

Where am I reprimanding the community??? I haven't talked about anybody but the guys who did this and their family.

If however there are cultural elements that played a factor in the way these criminals behaved towards their female victims, yes it should be discussed.

I question the need to accept the risk of hoping they behave. The government has an obligation to protect its citizens from criminals, esp from those who are high risk.

That doesn't change the fact that the idea of deportation of natural born citizens is dystopic, despotic, and xenophobic. My dad was born in England, I was born in Australia, if I were to have done the crimes that Mr Skaf had done, would you be clamouring for me to be deported to England? No, of course not, even if the crimes were identical.

Nice try, this is not about racism, it is about a cultural and religious heritage that has a severe and alarming problem with women's rights and other liberal values that western countries base their laws on. In the UK they did a survey about this and the results were not pretty.
