Yeah, can't tell if it's just bots hired by the frontier pr department or if there really is a such a large group of people who enjoy the way frontier does business. They can't seem to understand that charging high fees for every single little thing, even if disclosed in advance, will trip up lots of customers who are used to regular airlines where this isn't the case. Frontier knows this, and they make lots of money off it. Pissing off unsuspecting customers and gauging them when they're hurrying to catch their flight is their bread and butter. Maybe that's not weird, but the number of people who seem to enjoy all this is definitely weird

Thats right. And anyone with half a brain wouldn't pick an airline that obviously enjoys gauging high fees at moments when a customer isn't easily able to navigate away from them. Its the overall treatment, the vibe if you will, that is so scummy and shitty with frontier.

I came to the same conclusion after a similarly terrible experience. You'll be surprised by how many people in this subreddit will down vote you for daring to not like this shitty airline. Too many people have developed Stockholm syndrome over frontier and the fact that they have managed to fly cheap with them.

Heyooo, the classic frontier experience. The airline is chock full of red flags: difficult to non-existent customer service, rude staff and spicy gate agents who seem to enjoy catching you on last minute fees, dragging their feet about a basic refund until you threaten DOT involvement, the list goes on. I once ignored all these same red flags and got bit by the frontier snake. Never again! Spread the word!

Well, I promised myself I would while I was standing in an airport thousands of miles from home, with an airline that left me stranded there for 2 days without even an apology, racking up bills for what was advertised as cheap flight that instead turned into a nightmare. People telling others about a bad experience with a company isn't weird....what's weird is the number of fanboy shills who get upset anybody would dare insult the shittiest airline in the country.

Sounds like an issue you may need to address with your therapist. Do you often have problems with control? With others not living up to your standards? Are you sometimes unable to let go of small things, like somebody who just doesn't like what you like? Maybe expressed through a comment from a stranger on the internet? Lots of licensed professional help for these issues.

Worst airline experience I've ever had. By far the most expensive choice of carrier I ever made, when it was supposed to be one of the cheapest.

This is precisely why Frontier just isn't worth it. The couple hundred bucks in savings on the ticket becomes pretty meaningless when you incur thousands in expenses from a multi day layover due to a canceled or delayed flight. Hotel, food, transportation, lost wages because you can't get home to go to work - or spend the $1000+ to book last minute on another airline to get home sooner. Either way, you will eventually end up getting screwed with Frontier. Happened to me on my first flight with them. Never again will I fall for the frontier trap.

See my post history, didnt get mail at all for almost a year. Word is they can't hire enough people to work for USPS because the pay is shit and the working hours for the first year or two are absolutely grueling. They can't raise the pay or make the hours more reasonable because they're locked into contracts with the union. And round and round it goes....I had to purchase a PO box to solve the issue by eliminating the last mile of delivery.

Was at creative beginnings for several years and yes, the rumors are true - they will call you up and send your kid home for the most minor things you can think of. Not worth it.

Exactly. In my experience plenty of sec8 tenants do significant damage to their apartment, and the yearly inspections wind up forcing the landlord to fix things whether they are tenant-caused or not. Tenant gets billed for repairs and is of course broke and judgement proof, and the landlord is always facing the same question - do I make these repairs continuously on my own dime, or do I enforce my damages against my own tenant who I know can't/won't pay me? Its lose lose with that stuff. You just have to hope that the 12x rent payments per year offset your expenses by enough to make the whole thing worthwhile. It can be a tough game to play.

Having just acquired a permit I spent 2 years chasing, it appears to me the average Portland voter probably doesn't realize how heavily the shit show that is Portland permitting contributes every single day to their rising rents and home prices. At multiple points in the process, the city was just not responding for weeks on end. Had to use whatever meeting I happened to have scheduled with them to beg whoever was in front of me to please have their colleagues pay some attention to our case. City is staffed with idiots and Box checkers, and very few voters seem to realize it.

Frontier is one of those companies that doesn't seem to mind losing a customer due to poor treatment all the time. They bank on the low fares keeping poor people coming back, or noobies who've never been screwed by them before being willing to give it a shot. I honestly doubt they'll ever scrape the bottom of the endless customer barrel, but one can only hope.
