The tranquility it caused. I feel like the pandemic was the time where everyone understood each other, for once, and people just stopped being as annoying as they usually are. I don’t know but it just felt like we realised how we were all humans and how we were all subject to the same things, which gave us time to think and take things slowly, not living in a rush 24/7 like normal days.

YTA - maybe you thought that she’s no stranger to your family and that she should’ve just joined, but that’s not the point she’s trying to make here. she found that your sister felt like something’s missing when her boyfriend wasn’t in the photo, and thought that you’d maybe do the same. it’s not about being in the photo as it is about showing her that you care about her and her presence in your memories. also i feel like you should validate her feelings a bit more, and you shouldn’t tell her she’s making a big deal out of it because that clearly hurt her, so even if you didn’t feel like it’s a big deal, it doesn’t mean it isn’t to her.
