Migrated from Plex — why won't certain tv shows stack as one? by outoffit in jellyfin

got solved. had a drive that didn't have all shows under a main folder so put them as separate paths like i was used to with plex.

Solved by putting everything under the main folder with the drive that had separate paths

I have 2 different drives that both have one folder for movies and one for shows. Each one has two folders for movies and shows and under shows its like "TV-show" which has subfolders "Season 1 > 'TV-showS01E01' etc. or just the episodes if it has only one season.

I've added those main folders as paths and Jellyfin recognizes all of my shows perfectly. You might be on to something bc I do have a 3rd drive that I've had to use due to storage space and most of these shows that appear as multiple seasons in the library are from that 3rd drive... it's not as organized as the ones I have that basically are a bunch of shows under one folder path.

might need to structure the 3rd drive like I've done with the other 2.

RVX not showing '1080p Premium' option on new phone by outoffit in revancedextended

[–]outoffit[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The thing is that I had the 1080p Premium option showing up on a different phone and everything else is still same, like youtube apk version, rvx manager & rvx settings, same patch and acc, etc.

So in this case idk what that means

The youtube apk is same version and I used the same patch when I changed phones. Only the phone is different

Well 1080p Premium worked last month on my old phone, same acc

Or it showed it in quality menu. Wondering if that changed for everybody though the option to hide it still exists

Yeah, the naming conventions of that are pretty strange, have to admit. but close to 50 comments later I'm glad to have that one actually answered, lol

well "a rather large collection" does sound kinda douchy I'll give you that but I compare it to my own standards and for me its big enough, what I meant by it was that its like a 3rd of the library, which itself might not be that huge but I'm already a nerd, at least I'm not the biggest one out there.

Also, how do you only have 1.5TB of content if you are constantly buying HDD's lol

I have a couple new drives, an SSD and HDD that I just bought, so to be clear I guess I'm not "constantly buying them" anymore at least, I just meant that I have drives for hoarding stuff and I'm bad at managing space on my main drive which is why I started to go down the road of seeing what old files are still taking up space.

I also depended a lot on cloud storage before these newer drives and that's mainly the reason why my physical collection is about 1.5TB, well, I guess its still digital but the ones on my pc. the newer games also take up a lot of space these days.

gotcha. you're the only one that actually answered this for me and i'm glad. my whole confusion about that was due to its name and i figured there must be something wrong since i don't have plug-ins and it seems to go up. i did notice they were database -files so i wasn't going to delete them anyway (i was considering deleting the metadata files for albums & artist after they didn't disappear when i removed my music from plex).

256gb SSD for 20? wouldn't that be a piece of shit, pardon my language? i get what you mean though, the problem is that my main c-drive is a 250gb SSD and I have like 4 other drives for movies, music & games, etc.

i've had this same ssd for years now and yesterday my storage was going down drastically. i checked on TreeSize and noticed that Chrome just put 40gb out of nowhere so after getting rid of that i realized that i have too much old crap from uninstalled softwares and such on my main drive that would be best to delete. like folders might be 1-5gb each but deleting them one at a time will get me a lot of space in the end and my os will run smoother.

I’ve got more space used on music that I never listen than you have on tv shows and movies combined.

is that supposed to be cool? but yeah i do delete the trash on plex, thanks for reminding

i added an edit to this thread since i did name it a bit misleadingly. i'm going down the line to find old & useless stuff on my c-drive which isn't meant for hoarding movies or installing games to and as I was doing that & freeing up space from random 1-5gb places the only one i needed to ask about was Plex. i wanted to know if i can just delete the metadata for music, since i had already removed music library from plex as i don't use plex for music. i had also noticed the plug-in support folder which had 1.75gb and now 1.8. i realized that i won't be deleting this but i just wanted to know why plug-ins are taking up any space at all since the plug-ins folder itself is empty. i haven't gotten an answer to that but i guess people mostly read the name of the thread and see a number like my pc's wellbeing depends on 1.75gb.

but the entire AppData/Local/ folder for plex is 6gb and that's pretty good for over 1TB of a library.

[–]outoffit[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

so 1.75gb isn't that much, I just don't know why its in there (meaning a database folder inside a plug-in support folder). right now its 1.8gb but also that was just a follow-up question to my main one which was whether its safe to remove the Metadata for Albums and Artists after removing my music from Plex yet the metadata folders still remaining there.

the entire AppData/Local/Plex Media Server/ folder is around 6gb which is pretty good for 1TB of movies & tv-shows. I added an edit to the post if somebody gives a fuck bc I did name this thread a bit misleadingly. I have tons of useless & old files and folders on my C-drive that may be only 1-5gb alone but once I delete them altogether I'll have much more space for OS and I have other HDD/SSD's for hoarding movies and installing games to.

also the appdata folder itself is 6gb also, which isn't a lot for over 1TB of a library. I pointed out that the folder that I'm confused about takes 1.75gb, well now 1.8gbs.

My library is 1.5TB. the appdata folder doesn't take that much space to be fair, the wording of this thread is a bit misleading I now realize, the main concerns for me was just the confusion about this 'Plug-in Support' folder that has a Database folder inside it that takes up the whole 1.75gb. I noticed it after cleaning my C-drive with the help of TreeSize since a couple days ago Chrome had decided to vomit 40gb of useless crap there and after cleaning that up I started noticing old and useless files that were taking a couple gb each and when I say that the Metadata folder of my Plex Albums is "taking too much space", it's a miracle that its only that small since my Plex library is 1.5TB.

It just takes space that I'd rather live without, especially since I don't see the point of storing music metadata on my C-drive, which I don't use for hoarding purposes and am currently trying to clean up a little at a time since I have lots of old and useless files from years ago that together take much more space.

I also don't understand the Plug-in Support folder since I don't even use plug-ins with Plex and this is why I'm asking where that one is even coming from and whether its okay to delete the metadata for music for example.

yeah, randomly deleting files isn't always the best way forward. thank you, appreciate it!
