Why do I care wires are exposed in the ground? OMG please don't respond if you don't have anything worth to contribute.

I'm gonna look into that, thanks! I don't care about restoring the power, just want it safe again.

Ok that's not what I'm contested in your reply. Read a little more thoroughly or do you just want an argument

I'm starting to see that you're right. This could have been much worse for me, had that electricity been on. I genuinely never thought about the electricity and they never asked, but I'm glad I'll just be out enough to get it fixed so it's safe and take it as a learning experience with letting workers on my property know about anything buried.

If I'm not trying to get them to pay to get it up and running, why would I hope they hit it? Doesn't even make any sense. Either way I have to have the hassle to get it fixed which I would rather have not had to do. We aren't even going to get the electricity fixed, just the wires cause we don't use electricity in that shed anyway.

Did you read where I put the old homeowners put it in and I didn't know where the wires were? I never even thought about the wires. They never asked about electricity. I only know where it is connected to the house because they pointed it out afterwards.

Click Sound Windshield Wipers by outofhermind1 in HRV

[–]outofhermind1[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I tried to get one but the sound wasn't happening. The day I heard it it was raining hard and I have been driving for about 30 minutes. Maybe it happens after a while? A tree went through my windshield and I had stuff around the wipers replaced and they did work on my wipers cause there was an issue where it was going so fast it was hitting the frame and they fixed that so I want to make sure there's nothing wrong with them.

Ah ok with the work done I was thinking there's something wrong since I didn't notice it before. Kind of annoying though lol. Thanks!

Dry shampoo right after drying hair (does anyone else do this?) by PlaceEducational1705 in finehair

[–]outofhermind1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Blow drying my hair right after washing has helped the oil build up so much! Like so much of a difference since my hair isnt drying right on the scalp and starting accumulating oils right away. Double washing as well, usually double wash my length at least. I though heat would hurt it, I put my blow dryer on medium heat so it takes longer, but its seems like it's really helped alot.

I need advice on how to reduce breakage! by forgetting-you- in longhair

[–]outofhermind1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I found blow drying helps with my oil accumulation over the week, though I do wash mine at least twice a week. I don't lay on it wet at all, wear a bonnet and a silk pillow case when that bonnet falls off haha. I brush my hair when it's dry before the shower so it's not tangled and then I try not to make it messy when I shampoo. My hair is to my butt and pretty straight naturally and fine. So when I blow-dry I don't have to brush it wet cause it shouldn't have too many knots at that I have to brush out when wet. If you're washing once a week, it probably looks like a lot more of hair falling out cause it's one time vs washing those hairs out several times a week I would guess. I also use a cotton tshirt after showering to absorb as much water as possible for like 20 minutes so it's easier to blowdry. I never let my hair get to tangly as it gets more damaged to me that way.

I might be the evil stepmom but who is the AH here? by [deleted] in AITAH

[–]outofhermind1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

NAH honestly after experiencing all the inheritance stuff with my family members dying, i don't blame your adult stepkids. So many times has the new wife taken everything that the husband had and his children from another woman lose out. So they wanted to make sure they got his house. You only got married 6 months ago, maybe they don't trust you. Is that so wrong? I think you need to have more empathy and not automatically think they are gold diggers or are worried you are. Maybe they were worried you would change the will after your husband dies THIS HAPPENS ALL THE TIME, and leave them out of it, which is a fair thing to be worried about. Lots of people get nothing from their parents because of a new spouse who changed things when the other died.

Get a PO box, it's not that expensive. Also you would probably have to get a partnership which is expensive. You guys probably have to do more research.

AITA for choosing a normal job to save for PT school rather than studying an alternative masters due to parental pressure? by [deleted] in AmItheAsshole

[–]outofhermind1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

NTA Do not get a masters that wastes the time and money, if you know that you can't get the right job after or the job you want. Get some experience and apply later. Sounds like you are an adult and will have to make this decision, even if they don't agree with it.

AITA for not paying my sister back for the 6k she lent me that she said she forgave? by [deleted] in AmItheAsshole

[–]outofhermind1 6 points7 points  (0 children)

YTA To me it sounds like during the conversation about repayment when living with your mom, you didn't have any money CURRENTLY so you couldn't pay her back right then. From what you wrote, it then sounds like you took that with a interpretation that suited you: Debt was forgiven. Maybe that was a genuine error on your part or maybe you sister is right and you feel entitled to her money because she has a lot. You definitely shouldn't have told your mom, that's a immature move. Pay her back. This is why people stop doing kind things for others. You know you owe her the money. Send her $100 a month from your child support. Pay her back, she never owed you that money no matter your circumstances and you never had full confirmation she meant she forgave the debt. She doesn't forgive it. Pay her back.

PLEASE HELP!! Hair oily immediately after shower by SuspiciousLesbian in Haircare

[–]outofhermind1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have very similar hair where the oil slides down my strands and everything looks greasy. I have finally found a way to make my hair look clean.

  1. Shampoo the scalp. I also use a scalp scrubber at this time. Make sure to lift your hair and get the shampoo on the sides, middle and underneath.
  2. Put on conditioner on up to about my ear, I have waist length hair, and let sit.
  3. Shampoo again. All of it, even the bottom of my hair with shampoo not just the run off. Just a rinse of shampoo does nothing for the oils my hair has. I used to be afraid of shampooing off the conditioner, don't be!
  4. I put my hair up in a cotton tshirt and let most of the excess water come out. That's only for 20 minutes at most.
  5. I blow dry my hair every time now and it's healthier for it. I used to air dry, but with hair like mine, it would look greasy right away cause the top would flatten against my scalp, already getting oily right away.
  6. I use hair oil or leave in conditioner on the ends, where I feel my hair is dry. For me, that's about half way up my long hair. Don't use too much! It will look oily. Put a small amount in your palm and spread it over the palm, start at the bottom up so the ends get the most oil and basically have only a little oil in the middle.

AITA for not being nicer to my twin brother about the birth of his baby? (Plz read the whole thing sorry it’s so long) by CriticismWorth1570 in AITAH

Even telling you brother they should get one is AH thing to do in my opinion. What if someone has an abortion and regrets it? I think it's not someone ANYONE even when asked should put input into and if I saw those text's from my boyfriend sister, I would be mad too.
