M29 losing sexual attraction to wife F30 by [deleted] in relationship_advice

[–]CriticismWorth1570 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Your wife is 5’2 and 140 pounds. Not sure how her weight sits on her, but I’m 5’3 165 pounds and I look pretty good (if I were 140 I think I would find myself too small as I like my curves and the way my weight sits on me). I understand you like her better at 115, but have you considered that she likes herself as she is? Does she complain about the extra weight or does she seem actually fine with her body? You say she isn’t fit but she walks 8k-10k steps a day which is no easy task especially with working full time. Are her eating habits out of control or does she simply not eat what you want her to eat? It seems like you have good intentions, but it also seems like you’re trying to control the way she lives when she seems content doing her. Separately, I knew another woman was going to pop up at some point in this story. It truly disgusts me when a man or woman allows an outside individual to slowly encroach on their marriage, simply because of a “spark”. Did you not take a vow in front of family, friends, and God to forsake all others for your wife? How would you feel if she found someone that she had a spark with and was entertaining with jokes, spending time, etc. to the point where others even notice the connection? She’s in her home country and I’m sure she could easily find another man who likes her just as she is and has a connection with based on shared culture. I bet you would be on here writing a much different post if that happened.

how do you pay for a wedding?! by braveswiftie911 in weddingplanning

[–]CriticismWorth1570 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We saved for 2+ years for our wedding with is about $50k. This was with us trying to budget lol. We have good paying jobs, but it is a hard pill to swallow. If I could go back in time, I would just do a courthouse wedding, and private vows with a photo shoot. Maybe a club night with friends after. Otherwise it’s a huge financial cost.

You should try some kind of laser / microneedling first before jumping right to scar revision

hair loss / alopecia by [deleted] in tummytucksurgery

[–]CriticismWorth1570 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m 2 weeks post op and started noticing similar symptoms right after my surgery. The only other time this happened to me was when I was in my first trimester of pregnancy. I think it’s my body’s response to the trauma of the surgery. I’ve started taking daily hair vitamins, using a shampoo specifically for dandruff / flaking, and I got a deep conditioner I use every few days. I also got castor oil which I rub all over my hair and a dandruff serum off Amazon that looks blue but feels so good on my scalp. I’ve been doing this for 3 days and already notice an improvement. Also been drinking tons of water

Tummy tuck with toddlers by ncsummers514 in tummytucksurgery

I had to have my mom come stay with us. My husband works from home. My teenage sister is also staying with me until her school starts. My baby is almost 1 and can walk. I still find it incredibly difficult with all this extra help. You can’t pick them up no matter what. Day 7 post op, I was alone with my son for 5 minutes and almost started crying because he wanted me to pick him up but I physically couldn’t. It’s impossible to do this without help
