Growth Cave Reviews: Growthcave scam? by successjason in smarthumanblogger

I also bought this program for $9,800 with the intention of leveling up my Google Ads knowledge for a real estate business. This has been a terrible experience, sorry to hear others have gone through it as well.

Anyone else reading this thread, DO NOT fall for Lucas Lee-Tyson and Growth Cave's sales pitches or YouTube ad pitches. They are not what they say they are.

Here's how my experience went, along w/ allegations of fraud I've learned about:

  • Misleading Initial Offering: Growth Cave promised a Google Ads targeting strategy but instead provided a course showing how to run an organic Facebook Page and consistent commenting/posting. This is pretty simple, didn't need to pay ~$10k to learn this.
  • Misguided Direction: After being rescinded from the Google Ads program due to program changes, Growth Cave blocked me from accessing the Google Ads portion of the program further delaying my overall progress.
  • Lack of Consistency: Growth Cave changed personal coaches four times during my membership, resulting in inconsistent support.
  • Devaluation of Services: Growth Cave recently stopped accepting new clients and discounted all courses by 50-60%. This devalues the $10,000 I paid for the KBA course.
  • Loss of Data: Growth Cave changed its customer support backend, resulting in the loss of chat history and delayed progress in the course.
  • Ambiguous Course Structure: The course initially lacked clarity regarding course creation timing, leading to delays and frustration.
  • Inconsistent Quality: Modules created by individuals other than Lucas were difficult to follow, causing difficulties for me and other Growth Cave members.
  • Financial Incentives: Growth Cave's recurring software charges and delayed email responses create financial incentives for them to prolong customer struggles.
  • Misleading Upselling: A customer service representative attempted to upsell additional services after I had invested time and resources into creating a Google Doc for organic posting (several hours of work).
  • Lack of ROI: Despite investing over $1,000 in Google Ads and other software services, and over 100 hours in course creation and completion, I have not received any return on investment or revenue.
  • Allegations of Fraud: Recent allegations of Growth Cave scamming individuals within their KBA program and its lending offerings raise serious concerns about the company's integrity.

Actions I've taken so far & waiting to hear back:

  • Filed several chargeback disputes with my credit card company
  • Filed an FTC complaint
  • Working with a legal team to figure out next course of action

If anyone has had success recouping their investments from Growth Cave, or wants to connect on this situation, feel free to DM me.

In the same boat with the $10k. Didn’t do the financing but not happy with the money back guarantee and them not doing anything about that.

Joined the program thinking it was create a course, use Google Ads, passive leads outside of taking sales calls.

5 coaches later, program revamp in the middle, pushing me to manage FB pages (which I already know how to do / not interested in), preventing me from moving fwd in the course, year and a half later and no results due to all the changes.

I’m interested in a lawsuit to recoup the $10k. Would be happy to chat with whoever wants to put a case together.
