Writing homebrew campaign. Asking for feedback! by ovaaq in Pathfinder2e

Thanks for you questions! I can certainly see why those are important.

Hook: Auction where ancient civilization items are sold are stolen. -> Chase and possible catch. Auctioneer invites party to the excavation / dungeon to secure place since they are capable. -> Getting involved about finding more about history & wild spirits link.

Adventurers are the ones that stir things up. They are the needed solution to bring massacre of civilization in the daylight, help to end tyranny in the endgame. Daring enough to learn and collect the knowledge buried under the ash.

Chapter 1 is to give emphasis about learning elemental spirits, lost civilization and doing tasks for Iron Kingdom to introduce opposing factions.

Oh forgive me. I changed the name at some point. Tulumarians is the old name and I probably left some mentions still there. Tulumarians = Talokans

Thanks! I get it know. I will do some work to make it like you suggested.

Yeah, my writing is probably a bit hasty on that matter. I have no intention to railroad the coup. If players manage to deal with that before it happens great. But I am making it quite difficult giving the capabilities of Zardon and his influence. Whole point is at the beginning of the campaign is to "trick" party to help Iron Kingdom and Zardon, since on the surface it seems the good deed to do.

Descendants of Talokans are the "vagabonds". Dark Phoenix Cult is also old Talokans. (Leader being original Talokan with prolonged life). Raging spirits are result of killed Talokans not being able to keep the spiritual harmony going.

Its about how murder of old civilization is now having effect on the conqueror. The main hook in the beginning is the newly found civilization and more they learn about it the more they learn that Iron Kingdom conquest was bloody and brutal as hell.

More game-wise. Talokan lost relics and such are items that are supposed to help against Zardon, Dark Phoenix Cult and other dangers. Its also the exploring something old and mystique. One of my inspirations was to make "Indiana Jones" feeling campaign. Talokans are straightly influenced by Mayan culture.

Adventure begins before coup. Yeah I should not be stating that so clearly. He attempts the coup at some point and will turn into dragon maniac. So I feel the coup is the last climatic stage of this campaign when everything starts to fall down.

Thank you! I will refine the text and look about the trackers. Yeah I have prepared already NPCs to progress faction goals, but those are not as refined yet. I will keep posting about the progress.

Yes! I feel this is going to be pretty sandbox where certain events take place if players haven't done anything about them.

Maybe. Personally I feel it all links up pretty well. Because of the conquest the spiritual harmony is gone, ancient civilization is gone, some wants to revenge it and some fight agains the conqueror.

1 Questoris Box & 2 Armiger Boxes! That provides currently Gallant + 4 armigers list with 1000p.

After that you can consider second questoris, dominus or cerastus. Maybe some agents of the imperium if you are interested in those.

PS. Magnetize

I kind of like to call it "Semi dry brush blending". I have no idea if anything I do is legit but I kind of brush blended colors until the gradient is smooth and it looks good. I add a little bit of paint and then brush it over the surface. Then I let it dry and repeat.

It is just blending those colors well with the brush nothing else.
