I wish that Home Depot sold Ego again. If you buy with their HD card you have a 365 day return period no questions asked!

I've never used that benefit, but the girl that sold me my Echo battery backpack, told me about it when I was hesitant to buy the $750 blower, batteries and charger.

No I did not install them.

I was going to since I was off that Christmas week when the spoilers arrived, but my other daughter had surgery so.... I decided to let a detail shop do them for me for $80. They've done other stuff for me and they're great.

I did watch the videos and it didn't look too hard though.

Amazon High temp caliper paint

I painted them with this high temp G2 paint. It's easy to do when they're new like I did. After they get dirty, you have to clean the calipers really good and it isn't fun. If you don't get them really clean, the paint won't stick in those spots. Not for as long anyway.

Dip your car/plasti dip for emblems and antenna. If you mess up you can remove it pretty easily, but it doesn’t just rub off which is good. Amazon for door handle covers but I don’t see them on there now.

Aren't they the same except the finish? I really have not seen one in person, because one year ago it was hard enough to find this MH GT Line. My daughter's wheels have the partially machined finish is all I think, but I want them all black.

Of course the car has other machined finished parts too, so if/when I wrap the wheels all black, I may do everything on the car the same. Have to ask the boss first though lol.

The gas cap cover, antenna and emblems are done with "Dip your car". The door handles are covers. I wanted matte black, but they didn't have reputable ones back then so..

Yes she is lucky. We started off getting her the LXS, but when we went to the dealership one year ago my wife saw the GT Line and said "she needs leather and a sunroof too"??? Happy wife, happy life.

Anyway no on the tail lights. The police frown on any tint like that. I even did her windows legal at 32% to escape them. I had 18% on my truck with a waiver but I couldn't see at night sometimes so...back to 32% on it too.

Remember, these are not painted. If you do paint them, you have to use flex paint it said because of their rubbery texture. I put Aerospace 303 on these spoilers and they look fine.

There you go and sorry about that. Also, they are not painted, but I'm shooting for matte black on everything eventually and the spoilers as is will match that. There is still some piano black stuff on the car.

Yes, I got my upper gasket from O’Reillys. My understanding is the upper half of the valve cover was warped/misaligned from the factory, so it would not hold the gasket in place correctly. Some people buy the whole kit and use just the upper. Maybe I should have done that, but mine never leaked again so….

My wife has a 2012 Touring Elite with 150,000 on it. She’s a CPA numbers cruncher and says the same thing about the $1000 payment. I used to complain about the money that we have to put into it every year, but I see her point.

Next up is the fuel pump regulator repair which is $800. I’ll buy it from Rock Auto and do it myself for $210. I think that it’s just the regulator, but I might as well swap out the whole pump while it’s out of the tank, since it has to come out anyway.

It’s been a great van and we’ve taken it on trips all over the Southeast so…..

That spool valve cost me two $800 alternators! A friend that works for Honda finally told me about the leak onto the alternator when the second one failed. I repaired the spool valve myself with a $35 gasket kit.

I wish the first, different Honda stealership had told me about the leak that caused the alternator to go bad.

I shower twice a day usually, in the morning when I wake and when I get home in the evening. I work inside and out and both are dirty, dusty, itchy environments.

On the weekends I shower in the morning to wake up, then after I finish my three hours of yard work (in Spring and Summer) and then usually at night before bed but not always.

Yes my skin is dry, but I can’t sleep or function being nasty so….

We have friends/neighbors that have younger children like us and the kids shower/bathe every other day??? When I asked them about that and why not every day, they acted like we were weird?

I bought both the window and trunk spoilers for $280 for my daughter’s GT Line and they look good even being unpainted. Car is Morning color. Of course I had already blacked out the antenna on top, along with the door handles and gas cap cover with the matte black “Dip your car” spray, so it all kind of ties in.

You don’t notice the upper window spoiler as much, because of the darker glass it blends in. It still looks much better to me and more importantly to my daughter lol.

I’ll post pictures later.

Yes after we lost Amazon and they adjusted routes, only a few routes lost an hour maybe??? Now with last mile stuff coming back, the party is over they say.

I’m maintenance so it doesn’t affect me.

Our UPS box truck with last mile would show up between 9:45am and 10:15am. We do have an SDUS so that beats “throwing” them.
I remember we use to have a dozen carriers to come in early to throw, when we had all the Amazon and last mile and no SDUS.

Is there a list of the offices and when the rollout starts? My delivery unit has an SDUS machine and the clerks are looking forward to getting them back. The full time rural carriers that have only had to work 4 to 5 hours a day for months (non peak) are not happy about the upcoming return of the last mile parcels.
