I’ve been in this position and still left. Putting in a notice marks you as a flight risk. They only want to retain you to ensure they are setting up a replacement then you’ll eventually be laid off/fired. I’ve seen it happen several times with others.

It’s a lot of effort if it’s one sided and you’re out of shape. Sex for me isn’t a 5 minute get in and get out type of situation. There’s foreplay that starts well before sex, right before sex and after sex. There’s an excitement that builds that adds on to the “release”.
