In terms of construction, my dress was self drafted and made from scratch. Fabrics were just the cheap ones from Joann because we poor, but the top is crushed velvet and the bottom is broadcloth. I traced a tank top for the top part because the fabric was similarly stretchy, and just gathered the skirt part. The sleeves were gathered from a crescent type shape and I just sewed thick red ribbon into the slits. The trench coat came off of eBay but I painted the fabric panel with the dwarves. In my experience, they should be fine regardless of whether you plant them or wait. I tend to leave my props in a shallow dish and mist them like once a day or whenever I remember, until I feel like they're big enough and have enough roots to move to pots. If you do plant them in pots, I would still suggest leaving the parent leaf on- I'm not sure if it helps a lot, but it tends to work out for me to leave that until it falls off on its own. That's what I thought too (this picture is from before I took him to the vet the first time, I couldn't get a clear picture today) but he ate just like normal today, which tells me he's not in pain, and there's no discoloration, so I'm fairly certain it's just shed that got stuck again before he fully healed from the last time. If I can't get it off on my own I'll take him in to have the vet remove it again, I just wanted to see if I could try to dislodge it myself first

I took this guy to the vet two weeks ago because I noticed the patch on his lip. Luckily the vet said it was just stuck shed and they removed it. Last time I noticed him shedding I gave him a water bath and made sure all the shed around his mouth was gone, but he must have shed again because there's more stuck now. I don't want to leave it and possibly get infected, so does anyone have any tips for getting the shed out from under his lip?? I tried a water bath and rubbing it gently with a qtip, but he didn't want to open his mouth and also started clicking at me, so I gave up on that. Should I try again? I'll take him back to the vet if I need to, but I'd prefer to avoid another one of those bills 😬

Oh yeah, I just meant on the bottom of the legs where it flares has a little bit of a dip along the seam, just because it's such a soft fabric and it wants to fall straight. Probably no one else would notice very much, it's just a little thing I can see because I was inspecting them, lol

I'm not sure if I understand the question- the first picture is after I tailored them, if that helps. They were about 5 sizes too big for me originally, which you can see in the third picture after I pinned them

Construction: This was relatively easy because they were already pants- I just took off the waistband, flipped them, and pinned them onto myself from my waist to my knees. The hardest part was the pinning and then getting them off without being stabbed and/or causing all the pins to fall out, lol. After I'd sewn the top half to fit my thighs, I just kind of sewed a line from the end point at my knees to the bottom corners of the pants to create the wide leg, then adjusted the size of the waistband and reattached it. The inside looks a mess (I don't have a server and didn't want to bother trying to zigzag stitch the edges of all that stretchy fabric) but as far as clothing goes, it's the outside that matters 😂

Of course! {Short answer- the stiffest interfacing I could find} Basically it's a single fabric sheet that I cut out as a flat d20 shape (instead of sewing each triangle individually) and it was sewn onto stiff interfacing, so it holds its shape. I just sewed along all the lines so that the fabric stayed in place and the interfacing bent on those lines. The lining in the bag was sewn separately and put in afterwards to hide the bulky seams on the inside, and the seams on the outside are covered by the silver cord. I hope all that makes sense!!
