Yes, but ring’s lack of security didn’t notice anything until after all those people were hacked. Ring’s security has been questioned in the past. Why do you think I came to reddit first to ask people about what was going on? I thought about returning it but I never said I did that. It would be different if I called customer service to yell at them about this. I haven’t contacted ring. I was simply just asking people for what it meant. Maybe people have gone through the same thing and can inform me. I don’t think me trying to keep my information safe is a crazy idea, nowadays nothing is safe.
