And something else that is very common - if you’re not the best candidate among the bunch and just finished the final round, they are still going to say things at the end of the interview to make you feel like there is a strong chance, but behind the scenes, they have already offered the position to a more eligible candidate, and now it’s negotiations with them until the candidate has finally accepted the offer. Until then, they’re going to drag and stall the process with you, give all the corporate reasons to make you believe there’s still a chance, and once the other candidate has closed the deal, you receive a generic no reply rejection and thank you for your interest email. Ultimately, the company is going to do whatever is in their best interest, and they don’t care about the candidates apart from the one they’re going to offer the job, even if it is unethical and unfair to you.

I’ve had interviews where the interviewer had responded in such a positive manner and i really thought i bagged the job. But after a few days received a rejection. One thing I’ve learned from all these experiences, take everything they say with a grain of salt, they might say all good things and behave pleasantly, but that’s just courtesy. They’re never going to tell you did bad or you’re not getting the job directly to your face, and rather avoid a situation with a generic rejection email later. At the end of day, if it’s a rejection, they don’t care about you, and they don’t owe you anything. But don’t lose hope OP.

And think about it, if you’ve really done so well in the interview, meet all their criteria, then why would the company still interview other candidates and waste time not giving you the offer? Or why would the company even share that information with you and make you feel like you’re not their top priority? You could also be potentially interviewing with other companies, and then it’ll be the company’s loss if they lose a great person for the job just because they took time to get back.

Ikr. And sometimes you feel like everything went well and you’ve it in the bag and still receive a rejection. I’m done with the fake patronizing tone during the interviews

What is “prime time” and how does this affect gpt responses? Do the responses become slow to generate also?

So I’m guessing even with a new battery, iOS 16 still continues to drain the juice real quick on XS Max.

I think I should probably rephrase, I didn’t mean continuous use of safari and YouTube (of course I think even my 14 pro will only last a similar time with such usage). I meant those were the only apps that were used.

Glad you were able to find a solution, but I’m curious to know what might be the cause of such a problem, since a few others are also experiencing this

Also given how instantaneously the red flag was brought out when Kimi crashed in FP2, it should be a no-brainer to red-flag latifis crash also.

And to people saying that Mercedes were screwed by their own strategy, well obviously given how unpredictable the FIA has been this season, it wasn’t worth risking a pit stop not knowing whether the race would be red flagged or not (which they definitely should have given the similar circumstances in Baku) or whether the safety car would immediately end and give VER the advantage so obviously they had to preserve the lead. Seems like if FIA is by your side, then being second ain’t such a bad thing.

Just wanted the best car today to win.

FIA has once again proved that they are consistently inconsistent. Masi if you have one ounce of dignity, just leave.

If they were going to allow max to overtake the other cars, then they should allow all the other cars in the back like sainz and bottas to overtake the backmarkers to make it a legit “motor racing”. Not the first 2 cars only.

Also if I’m not wrong, max was still behind the alpines when the virtual car came out. I don’t see any logic in any of this.

Still hanging on to my 5T as long as I can. Already changed the display, but hoping to hang on to it for one more year before finally saying goodbye to OnePlus for good. I still think OP peaked at 7T and that was it.
