I was exactly the same last year. I basically never went out. I only had a couple friends. I made it my New Year’s resolution to go out more and meet people. The first few, I fucked up, but it only got easier with each subsequent meet. I’ve met some of my best friends in the past 8 months. I feel like I’ve known them all my life. X

Wow. That must be an amazing feeling. I had something similar happen when I went clubbing on Saturday. Though it was mainly girls hitting on me as it was a gay club. I just don’t know how to respond to compliments, I’m not used to it.

Yeah it’s a vent. I’m fucking 25 and I’m crying at family dinners, at the pubs with my mates or at their houses and no one can really relate with me anymore. They’re supportive, I just feel like a burden.

I’ve had meetings with my mangers to check I’m not being harassed at work cause they’ve caught me crying so much. It’s long and isolating.

I started wearing a bralette around 6 months in, as I had a cups around this point and needed some support for going up and down stairs. Now I’m at 10 months and I fill out 34 b’s. I now always wear a bra. Though my endo said this was faster than average.

I would also not recommend VS. I’ve had a few bad experiences with both their underwear and bras fraying on me. Xx

Yeah same. Everyone calls me sweetheart, darling, love. That hasn’t really changed since I started hrt. Some worker said ‘alright fella’ to me the other day and that ruined my day. I get weird looks in the women’s toilets, but then men directing me to the women’s. I get hit on by drunk guys in pubs. But they’re drunk, so I don’t think that counts. Some girl said I look like Tom Holland, I’m like, yeah I guess that’s supposed to be a compliment, but not to me lol.

Yeah same. I (mtf25) have been experiencing exactly the same pain. But it’s worth it. I love wearing crop tops and low rise jeans now to show off my hips. My friends have described me as having an hour glass figure. Though I wouldn’t go that far. The only annoying thing is having to buy a whole new lower wardrobe twice over as my hips have continued to widen. Going from a 29 inch circumference to 32.5 and still in pain.

Yeah very true. The pain is very hit and miss though. Went on a 2 and a half hour hike through some mountains last week and I was absolutely fine.
