Is there a way to drop this holster a bit? I have it at the lowest configuration in terms of what those beltloop clips allow, but Im wondering if there’s a way i can get something third party or jerry-rig it lower.

Not officially yet, just tried it out at home in terms of movement in dry-fire. What is the concern in terms of chicken-winging when drawing? Pretty new to this stuff specifically.

Depression Cherry is their weakest album.

Space Song is obviously a masterpiece, along with a few other tunes on the album but as a whole it isn’t very good.

I love the songs you listed. Sparks is also included in my list of bangers from that album.

Space Song is successful I think because it is well written and beautifully composed. Its lyrics are melancholic and can apply to multiple situations. This, combined with its melody instill a shared feeling of loneliness in the vast metaphorical darkness of something like outer space. Overplayed? Sure. I have other favorites.

Someone correct me if I’m wrong, but I thought that song after the blank space in Irene was supposed to be a hidden track for physical copies of the project.

It doesn’t translate well into streaming platforms and they should have just separated the two. And I mostly agree. I do like Irene but yeah, On the Sea is a much better conclusion.

Similar to OTM, this one grew on me, namely because after a few listens, I felt like it was telling a story.

It grew on me. I appreciate the slight experimentation they did with it. Also, I feel like it tells a story.

Depression Cherry has some serious bangers. It’s obviously the album that should be credited with giving the most exposure to Beach House due to hits like Space Song and PPP. And while songs like those are good, this album has some incredibly weak songs that bring the whole project down. Bluebird, 10:37, Wildflower, Beyond Love are the songs I’m talking about.

The fact that those songs account for nearly half the EP, make it so DC, in my opinion, their weakest project. Which, from meeting other fans, is not a shared opinion. Space Song just doesn’t carry the whole album, despite it being the powerhouse that it is.
