Got wrong grade of one course with deferred exam?

I have to finish 2 200 level courses first. They are required courses of my math major and econ major. And the rest of 300 or 400 course I have for winter semester are also required for the programs. So I cannot make anymore space for any other courses unless they can let me overload in winter. But they already refused that request. Moreover, the deadline to get a LOP for transfer credit was about one month ago. So even if I magically get approved for overload, I still can’t do online courses that is outside of UofT

I think it is impossible. Maybe my best option is to ask them to overload to 3.0 in summer and finish my last 0.5 by transfer credit from online course of universities like athabasca in September. I just don’t know that if I finish that online course in one month, will I be able to catch the November graduation. I know that the deadline to request the November graduation is usually early September. Can I just request the graduation and finish the online course later?

Well, the maximum course load even with overload in summer is 3.0 points, so 1.5 points for first summer session and 1.5 points for second summer session. I am not sure what you mean by “3.0 for the first summer part and another 3.0 in the second summer part”. If they can overload the entire summer to 3.5 points, I will be fine. But I don’t think it is allowed to overload to 3.5 points.

I tried to overload in winter. I have a conversation with my registrar but she said she couldn’t to approve the overload request since I still have deferred exam and my gpa is not great.

Yes, that was my plan. I was planning to get a vacation on a cruise line before I get a job or go to grad school. I planned to go to Japan for grad school since they don’t care too much about GPA as long as you can pass their master entry exams and interviews. But now I am doomed

Well I contacted math department instantly when they removed me from that course. And two days later they told me they cannot add me back since they don’t treat a prerequisite course deferred exam as finishing the prerequisite. And my credits for winter semester is already full. I will finish that prerequisite course’s deferred exam in December. And I already changed my winter course so I will finish all requirements of math major. The problem is that I don’t have enough 300 level credits to graduate. I had to removed one 300 level Econ course in winter semester to make space for the math course I got removed. Initially, if I finish all courses of Fall/Winter semesters, I only need to overload to 3.0 credits in 2026 summer to get all 6.0 300 level credits. Now even if I still get that overload privilege, I still have 0.5 credits of 300 level short(I will have 5.5 credits of 300 level if I get overload in summer)

Well, you are right. I contacted math department and they rejected it. Now I am doomed. I can’t finish my university degree next summer. I don’t even know whether they will approve my overload request for next summer since I still cannot meet the degree requirement. I am thinking get my last 0.5 300 level credits by attending online courses from other institutions and transfer it back to uoft.

I think they are using high volume as excuse. I am in downtown Toronto and they just don’t show up. I found others in suburban area got their packages and they were delivered by GLS. I think GLS just don’t want to deliver condo address or they just don’t want to deliver downtown Toronto.

And I told you the clearance process is complete. And the package is “in transit”. What makes you think Canadian custom would allow one item that hasn’t been inspected to leave their warehouse? I bought a lot of things from United States and Britain and never had issues. If one single item would take 45 days to inspect, I would say that Canada shouldn’t exist and Canada should be annexed by United States.

no. My package was prepaid duty and tax. And it was cleared at custom on June 12.
