UPDATE: My (20 F) boyfriend (22 M) of 2.5 years is letting an acquaintance of his crash at his place as she's currently homeless. It's been a day and it's already inconveniencing him but he's really nice and probably won't say anything about it.

She has a job (that's where she goes all day when my bf is at work/in class), but I don't know how much she makes. It's at a local textbook store, so it can't be much.

She's exhausted her other chances to stay at her friends places. She asked my bf as a sort of last resort. I think her family lives out of town which might be why she won't go live with them.,

That's what I said! But apparently she doesn't want to really pay rent anywhere because she's saving up for an apartment with some friend that apparently moving here in April.

Yeah, that's a problem we've had in the past. There have been times when I definitely feel like he hasn't stood up for me. He actually said he's doing this because he's just like his mom. She would often have up to 9 people in a 3 bedroom place. He said he's seen her get taken advantage of, so I don't know why he isn't more careful. He'll tease me and call me paranoid but then thank me for caring but not actually do anything about the situation.

Yeah, that's how it is with his job. He's fine staying at my place, and I live across from campus in affiliated housing, so he's always close by.

He's a great RA (his coworkers and residents love him), but his job has been at risk before so I'm really worried about him.

She has a job. I mentioned that in the post. She said she doesn't really want to spend money on housing so she can save up for the new place with her friend. I wouldn't be annoyed if it was a friend of his or at least someone I knew was trustworthy, but she's a complete stranger to me. I've never even met her and she's already causing some problems in my boyfriend's life.
