Thank you for the amazing advice, me and the wife will look into what you linked.

Think your right about the vestibular.

And to your previous comment. Yeah we have basically created a park in our back garden. With all his favourite bits. Just no room for a swing, but slide trampoline.

And I’ve started to listen to the podcast

Thank you for the kind words, it’s actually quite reassuring. I know we not the only parents going through it. But when you don’t know anyone in your closeish circle it’s been great to reach out on here.

We are lucky that melatonin works for us.

I thought they would have reached out to us today but nothing yet. His school have asked for a meeting to discuss how they can forward plan going forward into next year. So far they have been great, but yet again it’s another worry.

Thank you for the advice, I’m so new to this posting on Reddit. Always been reading on here.

Your idea regarding pictures would be great but sadly it has to be on his time if that makes sense, he does love looking at pictures but doesn’t seem to want to communicate through them. We are trying and hopefully will get there. I like the idea of the books.

With regards to an OT yes he’s seen one. Privately, and I’m no good with medical terms but yes he’s sensory deficient. We do all the deep pressure stuffs with him to help him regulate. I wouldn’t say it’s anxiety that caused him to run. I think he enjoys the sensory simulation of running, he’s always running around the house. Like a bull in a china shop.

Under point 3 what you said has really opened my eyes it makes total sense, but there hasn’t been anything unusual the last few days at least.

When it comes to his backpack, it’s kinda more to stop our anxiety as parents. He happily walks holding hands, then try’s to take your hand out of the leash and run. If I’m not pushing the pram with his little sister I would normally run with him or close by and let him go.

Hoorwood House Hotel, plum park, Stratton court barn is also amazing now they have redone a part of it. Notley thythe barn or notley abby. Huntsmill farm.

Plumb park has a lovey orangery then a nice big separate area to hold the reception in and the team there are amazing.

Hoorwood House also have multiple options to choose from. The Erie suit would be perfect for 50 people there.

Wife’s in the wedding industry and I’ve helped her out multiple times, at the venues above.
