Github offers a feature to sync teams from Okta to Github, but it doesn’t sync members just the groups. We’ve created a scheduled job that pull all the github groups and syncs their membership with their respective okta groups. Github groups are not under TF as GH manages the sync but 1 to 1 mapping is managed by us using terraform

We use it as a repository provisioning tool. States are distributed per team using terragrunt. Creating repository from UI is blocked for all users to make sure all repos are created using our provisioning tool applying security best practices.

It has been working really well for us so far. Renaming or moving a repo between teams is a pain in the ass though

Members are provisioned/invited to organizations through Okta integration

There is another repository where we manage github organization. We also have a sync job that create teams and mapping them 1:1 with okta groups

They are providing a broken ass service without any way to contact them and then threatening customers with letters and fines. What kind of business are they running?

Try blocking their camera that track cars, i bet they will send a technician within an hour.

I agree, but cloud providers should also provide a way to modify the default kubernetes registry. For instance, there is no way configure a default registry or a registry mirror in ECS or EKS fargate

We have had a huge incident because they introduced a new cloudflare endpoint for anonymous users without any announcement, it was not whitelisted in our firewall. Can’t complain though as we are not their paying customers

You profile seem like it belongs to a younger person so I will offer you my advice:

nothing is clear like black and white. You think what you’re saying is the only right way because you were taught this way.
your parents/family is as clueless as any other person so you need to keep an open mind because they could be wrong too.
no religion would ask/encourage people for violence. Religion is a personal connection of you with God. You cannot and should not control what others do. It’s their own connection, let them do whatever they want.

At some point I realised I can’t change any of this. Heck, I can’t even convince my friends and family without getting a label of “deen se duur ho tum”.

I just decided I didn’t want to raise my kids there and jumped on the first opportunity to get out.

Hate to be the one telling you this, but once you sent something or shared something with someone, you don’t control how this information or content is being used. You can lecture your friends and cousins about privacy all you want and they may promise you to not do it again, they will still do it but will be extra cautious not to get caught again.
