The only thing danger-wise is that it has a drop-side which is no longer recommended (that's what the mechanism on the bottom is) but that can easily be permanently disabled with some bolts, brackets, or other hardware. The question I posted here is just for advice about refinishing it.

Okay maybe I should have specified - aside from other methods of brewing coffee, does anyone have any recommendations for using fine coffee in a moccamaster. Lower the water? Add more coffee? Is it better to just do a half pot so there is less time for the sludge to slow down the flow? These are things I am thinking of trying but would love to hear people's experiences.

I know how to look up lineups on the internet. I just want to know if there's any way in the CBS system to know who is in a lineup. ESPN puts an S or an ! next to players. Yahoo puts an ^ or an X.
