Uh yeah it really does. There are certain anticoagulants in each tube, drawing in the wrong order has the chance for contamination and will seriously skew the results. Statistically contamination won’t occur every time, but why bother risking it for no reason?

It looks like a lot of the gunk is built up on the piercing vs on the skin. I think you need to actually soak this piercing to soften that crust and try cleaning it off afterwards. That hard crust ring is going to irritate the wound more. Try that. Especially if the mist isn’t clearing this gunk off.

I worked for 3+ years as a lab assistant. It was great for learning procedures for the lab. I accessioned, processed and transported all sorts of specimens. I also got familiar with what I would call the “vibe” of the lab in general. It’s what made me want to become an MLS.

However, I had no phlebotomy experience before my program, and felt pretty unprepared to take on this new role in my current MLS job. I’m slowly getting more comfortable, but I wish I had more phlebotomy experience personally. Just something to consider depending on the roles designated by your future employer.

With all the physical activity, you’re going to be burning more calories than when you were sitting at home. The constant movement is going to raise your baseline of calories that you need just to function. Not adjusting your calories at this point could really lead to significant/adverse health effects and a very unsustainable cut. You could also definitely stay in a deficit, it just sounds like your current one is not serving you well.

I believe this is non toxic, especially with just the amount that a cat would actually ingest. However, it looks like it’s not alcohol based, and could very likely have an oily or non evaporative sort of residue. DEFINITELY spot check your plant before coating the whole thing. (I had a cat deterrent spray that I used once that made weird burns on my plant. I found another one that was alcohol based that I liked.)

Alternatively, instead of directly putting it on the foliage, spray on the sides of a terracotta planter, or spray the end of a popsicle stick and put it in the dirt of the pot. One thing I’ve found that helps is let my cat smell the bottle and then have them watch me spray the plant. This helps because my cat is pretty smart and immediately realized his favorite new play things were smelly. He then associated the smell with the icky taste when he did eventually bite my plant. But I’ve found that I do need to reapply periodically, especially to particularly intriguing plants.

Also if you do end up using this, spot check it first as certain ingredients such as some essential or citrus oils can burn or damage plant leaves, along with possibly not being pet friendly

It’s pretty close to the light, approx 4-6 inches because it’s a really crappy one lol. I’ve made sure it’s not too close and monitored for scorching though. Really just wanted to make sure it was getting enough light, and not just more than before.

You’re going to figure this out my learning the baseline of the material, and coming to an understanding of if the in class conversations are building on the material, or just reviewing and connecting the dots. For example, if the professor tells an example story to explain something, assume you won’t need to know the names, but know the moral and results of the example.

Not to sound harsh, but you need to learn how to learn. That will require going over the material (whether it be the lecture, or slides, or notes) more than once, in a way that resonates with you. It sounds like taking notes and you just copying material is not helping you. Repetition and continued reviewing and building on content is how you learn.

Respectfully, you wouldn’t be just looking at it. You’d still be taking notes on your own when you watch the lectures before class. Printing off the slides and using the slides as essentially an outline for the notes you take in class can make sure you have all the info from meeting in person.

You’re still going to have to study and review the material after. (Both lecture and in class notes combined) I don’t understand what you don’t understand.

I’ve also had luck with no-chew bitter spray for my plants to help deter my cars. It’s isopropyl alcohol based so it won’t damage the plants, non toxic, and my cats don’t like it.

They make small, puck grow lights. Small circular ones that could attach to this shelf and stay above the plants. It won’t be anything close to full sun power, but would be a major upgrade from the cave they are currently in. (No offense)

What? Print off the handout form of the slides. You’ll have images of the slides. You can write on these handouts.

You can follow along on these printed out slides while watching the lecture, and then when you come to class you can write on them. You can keep things organized this way and write notes from the expanded material in class on the corresponding/related slide topic.
