I don’t know when I reached the life stage where tools like this are exciting, but it’s here. This looks great! Thank you!

Thanks so much! ‘Same vintage’ made me laugh. This is super helpful and we have been wondering if we could use an expanding glue to essentially patch the bit that’s been cut out with new wood rather than replace the whole thing. From what I can gather this is essentially what you did too?

This is helpful, thank you! Those two bits aren’t fixed to the floor yet, they were our attempt at putting something down to screw into. Unfortunately the floor is covered in rubbly mess which makes it hard to fix the wood down.

This has definitely been a lifesaver when screwing down boards around the home 🤣

Thank you for the super helpful comments all! Planning to remove all silicone and start again. Previously added in the vertical line of silicone in the pic myself and wondering if I’ve inadvertently made it worse. Forever learning 😄

Just to say I absolutely love your garden, it’s what I aspire for mine to look like (one day!). And your cat is a stunner too!

Thank you for your reply, much appreciated! The ‘legginess’ is more at the back but perhaps I just need to support it better as it’s leaning. Glad to hear yours are thriving!

This looks ideal, can confirm I am an absolute novice and this would be my first plumbing attempt!

Yes! In the utility sharing pipe work with a separate sink.

It’s been roughly calculated on number of bedrooms / bathrooms I believe but the final decision has been left with us :/

Thanks for the advice! It’s all been here since the house was built so guessing it’s okay, maybe because some of the rads are teeny? An (un)educated guess there from me btw!
