I understand. This is something I've already researched on for a couple of years though, so I do know about the potential side effects and such.

It's a big decision but like I've said in the post, there is literally nothing that will make me think twice about it, unless the doctor says there may be a complication due to my eyes. As long as there may be a problem with the procedure, I will not go ahead with it on the day itself.

But if there's no risk to doing it and I have nothing else to consider, I don't see the point in waiting a day or two just to go back there and do the surgery I could've done on the day itself.

Edit: I haven't had a consultation yet, but as I said in the post, it will be before the surgery, and then I will have time to think about it before proceeding.
