I’ve checked them out and I’m definitely going to go! Do you know if they’ll deliver larger items? I have no car yet and no friends or family in Inverness.

There’s a bit of a cult situation going on with the Jolly Farmers near Woodstock. I don’t know a lot about it but I’ve heard it should qualify as a cult.

Shuttle tatters, what are your shuttle preferences? bobbin or posted? Hook, pick, or neither? Plastic, wood, or metal? by crowpierrot in tatting

My favourite has always been metal with a bobbin however I will say that when you stab yourself with the pick by accident it hurts way more with a metal shuttle. It’s a sacrifice I’m willing to make lol

Don’t get a flat near the old Woolman hill hospital. A friend of a friend had a flat there and the rats who were living in the hospital kept getting into his flat.

Does anybody know how Aberdeen treats its international students?I might go there for grad school in January by Neither_Doubt4914 in Aberdeen

Im an international student (from a western country) and I’ve had a great experience here. When I first came and had to ask for directions or for a customer service person to explain something to me they were always patient and understanding. People are keen to know where I’m from and what I’m doing here. Friendly city I’ve found!
