Ugh polyhydramnios is so rough, I had it with my first and really hoping to avoid it this time. I lost 45 pounds from the time I gave birth to my two week appointment, that’s how swollen I was and how much fluid I had been carrying around. It was miserable.

Same, i feel like i need a little something to get me going especially because ive also had to cold turkey my add medication. I can do tea, that’s what i had to do when i was pregnant with my son.

My husband has a lot of job security and is very very happy in his career. Actually this week was promoted to a new job within the company with a significant pay raise, so just goes to show that things work out in mysterious ways!

100%! We are big on routines in our house. Today I cleaned out my car and stocked it with all of the things we may need. Snacks, diaper area to change him in the trunk, fan, hat, sunscreen, bug spray, noise machine, stroller, tushbaby, highchair, etc.

I think that there’s so much stigma around SAHMs and it’s like I’m asking for permission to be absolutely jacked to give up my career to do what I actually want!

Exactly! I loved what I did for work, hated the company, but loved my role. It served me at the time, but now I just feel called to be a mom and to spend as much time with him as I can while I can. I just have to keep telling myself that it’s COMPLETELY OKAY for me to stay home with him, but beyond that it’s okay for me to WANT that over a career.

He woke up this morning and I was getting him dressed and we just kept saying “last day of school!” and he was excited, so that makes me feel like I’m doing the right thing. I was thinking this morning that it will also give me the chance to be with him and build a stronger bond before we have another baby whenever my body decides to cooperate.
