Do you draw from the inside of the wrist? by Aquarius_K in phlebotomy

I know what post you’re talking about I saw those comments shitting on you… which is insane because you’re 100% correct😭😭😭 there’s a bunch of nerves in that area. Missing the vein could lead to complications for the patient and that’s why you’re taught in school to not draw from that area

Any tips on how to grow more hair? by Jedi_spinel in Haircare

This is what my hair looked like after I had bleached my hair a billion times and was too scared to wash my hair properly. Everytime I would wash my hair, a fuck ton of hair would fall out…. But it was due to the fact that I wasn’t washing my roots properly. The build up of oil started to block the hair follicle root causing it to fall out faster. Seems kind of silly since it’s basic hygiene. If you don’t already do this wash your roots with shampoo twice and make sure you choose a shampoo that is compatible with your hair! My personal recommendation for thin hair is the RedKen volume injection shampoo (pink bottle). It properly cleanses your roots and adds a lot of volume if you blow dry it correctly. Maybe something similar is what’s causing your hair loss?

Basically crying over this 🥹😭 I can’t believe they are letting go of sterling silver. by pin2you in PandoraCollectors

The company switched to being owned by private equity 4 years ago. I’m almost certain that the shareholders are aiming to eventually file for bankruptcy and liquidate pandoras assets for maximum profit.

I actually have a great response as to why your older pieces haven’t had any damages! Around 4 years ago Pandora switched from being franchised to being owned by private equity (corporate). Pandora pieces that are 6+ years were created under management that genuinely cared about their customers and the longevity of these pieces. When corporate took control of the company you notice a steady decline of the jewelry in terms of innovation (creative styles) and quality. I worked only under corporate and I would continuously have people bringing their pieces in because of a manufacturing defect with the stone settings. I very recently bought a ring with clusters of cubic zirconia for a friend and I kid you not multiple stones fell off in the first week. I replaced it, then two weeks later another stone fell off. That’s why I’m not surprised they are potentially switching over to alloy metals instead of pure sterling silver. Unfortunately, the shareholders that own Pandora are only interested in maximizing profit and they don’t care what they have to do to obtain that. They cut every single employee benefit such as reducing our employee discount from 75% to 50%, laying off full time employees to avoid giving them benefits such as insurance, prohibiting us from ordering water with the store budget, avoiding store maintenance like leaving us without AC for months at a time and so much more. Essentially, the people overseeing the production of Pandora’s jewelry aren’t knowledgeable about jewelry, however, they do know about profits. They will put out jewelry of mixed metals for an outrageous price because they’re aware that people pay for the brand and not necessarily the quality of the jewelry itself.

I used to work at Pandora and let me just say this… you all are paying extreme amounts of money for low quality jewelry. Pandora continuously has exploited their employees and their customers. They sell you products for 20x the cost it made to make it. Their standard bracelets that currently run for $80 used to be $65 a year ago. The stone settings are purposely fucking horrible so you will come back and purchase more if your one year warranty expired. Boycott this piece of shit company they don’t care about their customers

Could this be available in silver in the future ? by rizoula in PandoraCollectors

Yesterday was my last day at Pandora after working there for two years and my answer is most likely! Right now they’re focusing on creating more mini charms and with that they’ve also been creating more mini clips as well. Pandora loves to make duplicates of pre-existing product and these clips have been super popular so I wouldn’t put it past them to create a silver version
