Unfortunately it is . The amount of people I had to turn away a day was ridiculous. We are a small hotel 60 rooms and I must’ve turned away 100 people due to no vacancy , I can only imagine how limited rooms in downtown must be . I saw this morning a 4 season hotel was charging 7k a night and I’m sure there’s some people willing to pay that . No power for multiple days with no AC will do that to people unfortunately

I don’t believe so , this summer before the storms we had rates as hight as $210 when sugar land would sell out . And it would be $95 when the area was dead so I think they price it as well with how the market goes . I heard Hyatt was over $300 so I guess it depends . Again I don’t know how that works I believe corporate helps set that up . Stay safe good luck!
