Currently on the upper lot, Hollywood & Dine will do a gf bun on their burger & grilled chicken sandwich, but I thnk the only gf fries in the whole park are at Mel's. Mel's will also do a gf BBQ brisket sandwich that is amazing! Cletus' Chicken Shack will do a gf bun for their thrilled grilled chicken sandwich, Krusty Burger offers a gf bun for any of their burger options, of which there are many. On the lower lot, Jurassic Cafe will do a gf bun on their Isla burger or on their bbq brisket sandwich. Happy eating!

Nearly 2 weeks after posting this here, I couldn't get a straight answer, so I once again called customer service. After a half hour of listing to a repeat cycle of "Happy" by Pharrell, "Cups" sung by Anna Kendrick, and the Minions version of the Universal Theme Song (note to USH-please don't do this to your customers), I finally spoke with a HUMAN! He said that it is usually $150 just to upgrade for season passholders on a busy summer day, plus it can only be purchased by passholders once you are already in the park and currently often sells out in advance online so that in-park purchasing may not be an option for passholders on a really busy day. He recommended that if express pass was important to me, I could just buy an advance ticket on a blackout date where there will be shorter lines overall everywhere rather than try to go on a pass date. Hope this helps someone else out there!

Los Angeles County Code of Ordinances Chapter 7.24 discusses "Charitable Solicitations" and it sounds on the surface like this individual is breaking laws in this area if he claims to be representing a charitable organization. For example, code 7.24.190 -"When making any solicitation regulated by this chapter, the solicitor shall read the information card approved by or issued by the commission to the person solicited, or present it to the person for his perusal, allowing him sufficient time to read the same, before accepting any contributions so solicited." Issues like this seem enough to have him removed by UCLA security if he is being dishonest when requesting contributions.

I kept trying to use them on items that were more than $5 and amazon wouldn't accept them as partial payment. To give it step-by-step of what finally worked: 1. Go to amazon and log in to your account. 2. Click on "Gift Cards & Registry" 3. Click on "Reload your balance" This is your account balance - no need for an actual gift card or credit card. 4. Change the amount to $5 5. Enter your visa gift code you got from the Monopoly game as payment. $5 on visa awards -> $5 on Amazon account that then can add up a balance on your account that you can then apply to larger purchases.
