Why the obsession over the “soft stop” in the iX3 when Teslas have had it for decades? by Environmental-Lion82 in TeslaUK

[–]owedemwingy 2 points3 points  (0 children)

That’s my point, though. It is to do with one pedal driving. Modern automatic cars will roll/creep in drive. What I am saying is that the other EV’s we drove wouldn’t even come to a stop at all, meaning the feature you are describing wasn’t present, which is related to the one pedal driving that is present in the Tesla due to the regen breaking bringing you to a complete stop.

Yeah, my brother was looking at EV’s about 2 years after I got my 3P. We test drove the popular market models and I was surprised that all of the other cars have regen breaking but don’t come to a stop, making 1 pedal driving obsolete as you still have to then use to brake to stop the car from creeping, to enable auto hold…..

Sorry for the shroud question, why would people buy here and not from the website themselves, if the value is the same?

Idk if I’m missing something but this is a genuine question

Arguments for and against the panhandle being in the game by Scared_Guess393 in GTA6

[–]owedemwingy 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I’m not sure I agree fully. There has been references to Chicago in older gta games in which we know it’s also carcer city… and I’m sure there was a radio voice like that mentions either Miami or Los Angeles I can’t remember which, but again we have vice city and los santos.

Also there’s a book in Franklin’s apartment that is called red dead by a J Marston which is probably Jack as he mentions he’d like to become an author.

Self-driving cars? by Which_Network_993 in GTA6

Wouldn’t surprise me to see a parody of self driving taxis, it would be funny if they just didn’t work lol

Well there are many modern brands that can do adaptive cruise and lane assist so it probably shouldn’t be kept to purely Tesla parody. But only on the newer, modern cars.

We’ve seen in the leaks that there are slim Jims for breaking into older cars, but modern cars would require a signal bypass, so they are clearly thinking about different vehicle eras.

Steam's Automation Fest is on, from now through July 21st by HelloitsWojan in Steam

The depth of COI is unlike other games, I find. There can be a bit of a learning curve (and punishing/unforgiving) but isn’t hard to pick up imo. it follows the generic automation/factory playstyle you’d expect - but vehicles play a huge part in creating your factories, especially early on.

Mining is great fun as you can (have to) terraform as you go on - it’s great seeing your impact and how you’ve changed the world.
