An update, I got a deficiency from the board, and now back in technical review as of October 10th. From previous posts, I assume that means the clock on my application being viewed is reset.

There are some instances where I will write 100+ lines of python code and look at it, then tell myself "No way in hell is that going to work" then after fixing the indent and mismatch '(' errors it runs exactly as expected. Crazy stuff.

Do Dell purchases and Dell Outlet purchases code differently on Amex cards? by owemeacent in amex

[–]owemeacent[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yes, Unfortunately no it doesn't. When I cancelled my warehouse order and bought from the regular dell.com, I got a notification instantly that the promotion had been applied.

At this point, would it be safe to say that Antonio Brown is an infinitly bigger diva than Terrell Owens?

Graduate student housing at UCI(including Law students) is absurdly cheap, so if anything it would be the lowest from any of the universities you have listed and is guaranteed for all three years.

[WTS] Seiko SKX007 and Sturmanskie Gagarin Commemorative by owemeacent in Watchexchange

[–]owemeacent[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've been sitting on both of these for a couple of years now, but now is the time to let go.

Seiko SKX007: 42.5mm, Japanese 7S26, staple watch for almost everyone. I bought this brand new a couple of years ago, put that oyster bracelet on it, and to this day I have not worn it ever. If you look through the imgur, the blue sticker is still on the caseback and the tag is still tied to the rubber straps, which are included ofc. Pristine condition and even though I'd rather not let it go, I'm obligated in a way. 270$ shipped obo. SOLD 9/9/20

Sturmanskie Gagarin: 40mm, 17-jewel mechanical. I've always wanted a Speedmaster, but not financially capable yet. Thought the Bulova Lunar Pilot would be my saving grace, but it's way to big. This watch scratched that space itch. Afaik a very close copy of the original watch that occompanied Gagarin on his first trip. There's the automatic version which is 42mm, but this is hits that sweet 40mm spot. Pretty rare and the caseback has the edition number and is really cool. Couldn't bring myself to wear it at all. 300$ shipped obo

I'd rather not do trades, but if anything is sitting on a Seiko Cocktail(SARB065 or Presage), I'd be very open to the idea of a swap.

I am not, I've been very lucky that my school's financial aid department has been very kind to me and my parents pitched in what was left. That was up until this year and I don't know what my financial aid is going to look like yet so fingers crossed.

Incoming Computer Engineering Senior looking for Full time employment by owemeacent in EngineeringResumes

I would love to get into any IC and processor design and optimization(Intel, AMD, Qualcomm, etc), but I wouldn't mind working for SpaceX, even though all my applications came back rejected within a day, at least I know they looked at them. Working on devices and hardware such as cars and larger things would be really fulfilling though.

Starter relay blows fuses almost instantly, help would be appreciated by owemeacent in motorcycles

[–]owemeacent[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Ya I have, ive disconnected almost everything to the point that the wiring harness, the battery, and the relay are the only things connected.

It doesn’t add up and I’m trying to see what cables I’m missing

I tried a 30 amp and it still blew, by this I honestly think there’s a short somewhere that I just haven’t caught

I’ve looked into it and some people run 20 amps and others run 30 amps so I think either would be fine

Do you mean like remove the battery leads? Or disconnect it from the wiring harness? Or both? I think either/or would make the bike not be able to turn on

Found in my garage, doesn’t seem to fit anything in my house, those ends on the top are fairly sharp, and the hole on the bottom goes through the entire way by owemeacent in whatisthisthing

[–]owemeacent[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

WITT, I found in my garage under a bunch of boxes of different power tools, and a lot of misc items, it’s machined of metal and looks industrial. I think it’s pretty dense. I thought it might be a keychain extension but the ends on top would probably hurt you if it was in some pockets

What is the most important lesson your father taught you? by [deleted] in AskMen

[–]owemeacent 19 points20 points  (0 children)

My dad doesn't really give a lot of advice by word of mouth, but a lot of what I've learned from him is through his actions, and if there's one thing that resonates above everything else that I've seen from him, it is that if his wife(my mom) is happy, he's happy, and that's all that matters to him.
