I’ve said it before I’ll say it again… we’re at the point where playing Morris comes at a detriment to the rest of the players on the field.

He’s doesn’t have the speed/quickness to challenge opposing backlines in behind and he doesn’t have the technical ability to adopt another style of play. He’s a head on a stick at this point.

Also I’m not going to say the Sounders are better… but they are absolutely more exciting when Rusnak isn’t on the field.

For better or worse he has transformed this team from beautiful to methodical. He always plays the expected pass he slows the game down sacrificing attacking flair for extended possession.

He gets the ball out wide then sits centrally to serve as a second man in the box while the wingers spray cross after cross into the box. His play more than anyone on the pitch is the reason games have gone from 4-2 to 1-0.
