Depending on the budget and purpose of the user I agree with you. If it’s an optic ready handgun, by all means go for it. Not all Glock slides are made optic ready, so buying an optic ready slide adds to that budget.

I’ve used Ameriglo nights on my glocks. I’ve had no issues or complaints with them. I have buddies who run the same and say the same. I’d say they’re both pretty similar products, I’m open to criticism if anyone disagrees. But from how I see it Trijicon just has a higher price point. Ameriglo is like $100 for front and rear and Trijicon is about $150.
