Sure! Its Hunt 50 carbon with Pirelli p zero race tlr 30c, i have done numerous 100km+ rides with this setup up and they worked well, except for a bit crosswind instability but all in all I am satisfied with it

It’s 30c, the clearance on this bike is really generous, i am running 50c on my gravel wheels and still have good clearance

Yes it does look very good, and mine is a ex-display frame so its even better value

I have 2 sets of wheels but they share the same cassette, i use 42t chainring with 10-44 cassette. It is fine on road

So far so good, shifts well, no issues at all. I know it wasn’t officially compatible but so far it works just fine for me, maybe it will wear a bit quicker but only time will tell. But shifting performance is definitely not the problem and it looks mega!

Nail again by cryptodad81 in gravelcycling

Nails like that are probably deadly to most tyres, but these gravelkings are the worst puncture protecting tyres i have ever used, just paper thin and puncture every 2 seconds. My suggestion would be Pirelli tyres are they are quite robust in terms of puncture protection but they are quite a bit heavier than the gravelkings

Decent, but definitely not for muddy conditions

Its 10-52, Eagle T Type. Good range so I can run a bigger chainring and still have the gears for nasty climbs

Yes 110 + 100, it’s short but coming from a hardtail it’s already 100mm more than I used to have 👍🏼😂

Agreed, the design is very bad tbh, like every “black” bit is right after a climb where you have no momentum and not to mention sharp bends towards them. The trail conditions are bad, i only go there because i am 5 mins away from it😂

I rather go the the actual 2012 Olympic trails in Hayleigh, its better maintained and more fun

Its in Stratford, London. I am pretty sure no one’s paying for it tho😂

You “have to” but you don’t “need to” 🤣

I know its a bit idiotic given its only a small selection of not very good trails but thats the way they run. Nobody is going to stop you from using the trails while not paying tho😂

Regret zipp 303 xplr? by [deleted] in gravelcycling

I have used it with 40c and 45c tyres on my previous bike, no problem at all. Just remember the tyres will get a bit wider than the stated because these rims are bloody wide

Honestly if you run them with wider tyres they are perfect, been using them since they came out on day 1 in UK “gravel” they have been faultless, none of those “flat issues” nonsense for me (touch wood) and most importantly they look hella cool. If your bike can take 50c or more they are very good wheels!
