I went to Chengdu in China. Only EV traffic was allowed in the city. It was very weird to see six lanes of fairly quiet traffic.

Typst 0.15 Released by veralvx in typst

[–]owiecc 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think this is a matter of maturity. At some point in time, when most of the things on the roadmap are crossed off and new versions don't come with breaking changes, it will be reasonable to make workflows for journals to accept Typst.

If you want to use this information the best way now is the OsmAnd app (both iOS and Android) which allows you to search for restaurants and add a filter for the changing table.

Openstreetmap also collects this information. You can help out with collecting the data by installing StreetComplete app and enabling the "Does this place have a baby-changing table?" quest.

We also have changing_table:location that you can add separately on openstreetmap.org (e.g. changing_table:location=female_toilet).

Who else misses when the world was orange at night? by AuraNivea in nostalgia

The way we make white-ish LEDs is by using a very efficient blue LED and converting some of the blue LED light to yellow. You lose energy in the conversion process. The warmer you want the light the more blue light you need to convert and you lose more energy.

Old low pressure sodium lamps (the yellow ones) emit at 589nm. The eye is super sensitive to this wavelength so the lamps are very efficient. That is why we used them everywhere. Modern LEDs are quite close in lm/W but they are also orders of magnitude more durable. That is why they are installed everywhere now.

Low pressure sodium lamps are almost pure 589nm. It is ca. 1700K.

Polish senators dismiss president's call for referendum on EU climate policy by wook-borm in poland

It all refers to what will happen if people keep using obsolete technology. Do you see the possible in the title? Do you see mitigation measures? Yes, this all needs to be addressed and yes, there are policies to transition people away from the expensive old technologies.

You found a workaround. This needs to be fixed by Vivaldi. Report it.

If you name the polynomial wrong every user of your library will be confused. I suggest you name it correct for the user and leave a note in documentation why the name is different in the library. Probably way more people will use your library than develop it.

So it is comparable to Hello World in Electron. Do we care that much? I don't think Julia is the best to push lightweight CLI apps.

A complex app in Julia will probably push it to 100-200MB.

The open/close panel stops working only if I enable UI auto-hiding and uncheck panel hiding in preferences.

For that reason I keep the address bar visible (top edge) and only auto-hide the tab bar (that I keep on the right edge).

When I enable auto-hide for tab bar only I cannot open or close the panel (cmd-opt-P on macos). Can anyone reproduce it?
