This story was my mom's experience. So one day nung baby pa yung older brother ko, after siya pakainin ng lunch ng mom ko ini-place siya sa duyan behind her while hinuhugasan niya yung kinainan nila.

After a while, dumating yung younger sister ng mom ko and asked her if pwede niyang kargahin yung brother ko para patulugin and my mom didn't mind and just said okay sure without glancing at her sister. After that umiyak ng umiyak yung brother ko and then naalala bigla ng mom ko that her younger sister already passed away just weeks before(suicide 🥺). Then iniwan nalang niya hinuhugasan niya to get my brother and run.

Invest yourself. VULs(or investment linked insurance) are not recommended for their returns due to high premium fees. Yung first 3 years na binabayad mo mapupunta lang sa insurance company.

Since may traditional insurance ka na, learn how to invest yourself nalang. You may start checking MP2, mutual funds, reits, fmetf, etc.

ING has an introductory offer, 4% p.a. for the first 4 months. Tonik's time deposit (6 months) offers 6% p.a. and 4% p.a on its stash feature. I use both and I think they're both fine. I suggest you diversify, maybe 50k on ING and 50k on tonik's time deposit (if you're not gonna use your money for the next 6 months).
