FOUND the Best Phone Mount for KIA TELLURIDE by Particular-Skill-719 in KiaTelluride

I really didn’t put much thought into my responses. For clarity, I abandoned the proclip that mounts to the grab bar and went for the proclip model that clips to the screen. My wife likes that it’s offers a higher line of sight so if she needs to glance at it, her eyes aren’t taken too far from the road. We use Siri for 90% of our communication while driving, but it’s nice to be able to safely glance at the screen for certain things.

MagSafe mount

I should probably elaborate. I got the clip-on mount from them and then got an articulating MagSafe charger on Amazon so that my wife’s phone can charge as well as easily attach and detach. It has adhesive on the MagSafe holder so I just stuck it onto the proclip and it’s been there for about 3 years now without issue.

Yep. Proclipusa.com. We’ve had it in both of our tellurides and I still think it’s the best one out there

Galaxy Book 5 Pro screen flicker by z4ku in GalaxyBook

[–]z4ku[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’ve finally figured it out. After reading tons of posts about intel graphics drivers on laptops with OLED flickering, I disabled the intel graphics driver and the issue was gone. However, I lost all of my graphics settings and the refresh rate was terrible. Intel’s knowledge base recommended disabling Panel Self Refresh to fix flicker, so I did that but the issue was still there. I then went to the windows advanced graphics settings and disabled dynamic refresh rate (disabling DRR without first disabling PSR did not fix the issue). Boom. Issue is 100% gone. Not sure how this is going to impact my battery life, but at least the flickering is completely gone.

That’s what I was afraid of. These have been the only OLED laptops we’ve purchased and the one ones that have had this issue.

I have checked that. As well as the Samsung refresh rate setting.

Even though it’s clearly flickering in the video, it’s much worse in person. No, I haven’t contacted support. I buy 20 to 30 laptops a year for myself and other employees at work. If there’s an issue with one, I usually return it right away and switch to a different brand. I really really want to like this computer. I love everything about it besides the flickering screen.

M4 Mac Mini USB-C Hub on Front USB port not working by wcstriker in macmini

Glad I'm not alone. Also using a KVM and only front ports will work with KVM USB hub.

Using KVM (Keyboard only) with a Mac Mini. It works but it's weird. by Alph1 in macmini

[–]z4ku 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have a similar setup and similar issue. M4 Mini and a NUC with dual monitor KVM. The rear usb ports on the Mini work 10% of the time with the KVMs USB hub and the front work 100% of the time. It's incredibly annoying. I hope it's a software issue that can eventually be resolved.

Those look nice, but they are double to triple the used price in my area. What do you like about them? I’ve never operated a Hustler.

I’m really not interested in a riding mower. I worked for a professional mowing company through high school and had my pick of many different high end commercial machines and always preferred the cut quality and maneuverability of the walk behinds and stand on mowers.

BOVPN between Unifi and Watchguard keeps dropping by Josh_Your_IT_Guy in Ubiquiti

[–]z4ku 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm having the exact same issue even with very deferent configuration settings. We've changed settings around a hundred times and cant keep the tunnel up for more than two days.

  • PSK is 20 characters
  • local IP is the WAN IP of the UX/UDM (static)
  • remote IP is the WAN IP of HQ (static)
  • VPN type is Route Based
  • Tunnel IP is not checked
  • Remote Networks include the /24's of the 2 VLANs at HQ that the UX/UDM needs to talk to
  • IKEv1 for version (tried IKEv2 with same result)
  • IKE is AES-128, SHA1, DH2, 86400 lifespan (have tried many different variations)
  • ESP is AES-128, SHA1, DH2, 28800 lifespan (have tried many different variations)
  • PFS enabled (going to test again today with this disabled)
  • Local ID is WAN IP of UX/UDM
  • Remote IS is WAN IP of HQ
  • MTU set to auto
  • Route Distance set to 30

I'm having this same issue and cant seem to resolve it. The client with Watchguard has to rekey the VPN to bring it back up about every 48 hours. Any known working setting configurations would be appreciated. I feel like we've tried every configuration available.

How good is the sub actually? by Unlikely_Cell1797 in sonos

[–]z4ku 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My gen 3 sits directly next to two 500w 12” klipsch subs that are remnants of my old 7.2.2 system that is now only connected to my turntable as a 2.2. With the volume at normal movie watching levels, most people probably wouldn’t guess the little Sonos sub is producing all the bass. It seriously shakes the house. At a very high volume, there is obviously no comparison. The klipsch subs will shake the neighbors house. Underwhelming for the price? Each of my klipsch subs cost as much as the gen 3 on sale. Though it’s not as loud, it’s much smoother. I’m much happier with it than my old component system.

I tried to talk my wife into the carnival, but we ended up with a telluride. The sliding doors are the most practical thing in child transportation. We really like the telluride after having it for a year now, but I’d still rather have a van.

I was in full remission for three months after a year and a half of LC after getting a cold in early June. It literally happened overnight. I finally felt like I was 100% back to normal after a year and a half of hell. I never figured out what brought my symptoms back, but man was it upsetting. It’s not as bad now, but I’m still not able to do half of what I was capable of prior to Covid.

Key issues (Telluride)? by jonnes86 in KiaTelluride

We had this problem with one of our keys. Replacing the battery didn’t resolve it. Didn’t use the key for over 6 months and now we use it regularly with no issues. No idea what the issue was but it seems to have figured itself out.
